  6. I saw your thread asking what color. As far as what your car had originally (red or black) I'm not sure there is a definitive answer. If, I had your interior colors; I would go with black
  7. After three tries with rebuilt alternators, I gave up on Advance Auto. I see their carburetors aren't better.

  9. You're right. At my local Walmart Dexron is $4.27 for the quart Marvel Mystery Oil is $4.67 for the quart. I could save $0.40
  10. Try getting it in safe, legal (brakes, steering,glass, lights signals) streetabke condition Then you can drive it while you work on its looks

  12. To test the engine for being free, Remove the spark plugs. Put some Marvel Mystery oil or transmission fluid in the spark plug holes. And on the valve train Let that sit overnight, or at least a few hours... Remove all the belts (fan belt, generator belt, power steering belt) Use a long breaker bar with a socket wrench on the crank pulley. If you meet resistance try turning the opposite direction and then back again
