  1. I have the inlet and outlet side of a transmission. The inlet has a bearing adjustment in the housing and a four fingered yoke attached to a fiber impregnated disc to attach to the back of the motor with the drive gear attached. I'm not sure the other end goes with the front. They just came to me together. I also have a main shaft with gear attached. Main shaft and gear are new old stock. I also have several more NOS gears to fit this shaft as well as another main shaft and several more gears to fit a different profile shaft.
  2. We have a hurricane here at the moment
  3. I have a Franklin differential for sale in North Carolina. Includes the rear springs, axles, hubs, and rear of frame. Unknown year. The aluminum hub was broken and welded years ago. Pictures available upon request. make offer.
  4. There is a 1914 Warner transmission for sale in the HCCA parts for sale section that has the same spline detail as this clutch only this clutch uses a five spline shaft whereas the 1914 Warner used a four spline shaft. I don't really know what this is and I'm not claiming it is a Warner transmission part but it has value to somebody and I would like for them to have it.
  5. I do not believe this is a slip clutch. The square bits sticking out the back side fit into springs on the inside. It seems apparent that the clutch was forced against a surface that depressed these square bits allowing the shaft to turn freely. This mechanism was compressed between two surfaces to release the multiple clutches inside. I have a box of what appears to be new old stock transmission parts including main shafts and input shafts with this same square spline shaft.
  6. The construction suggests Weston Mott. The pumpkin reminds me of a Thomas.
  7. There are several epoxies that could be used to strengthen the wood in those wheels. I have used both West System and kwik poly
  8. I reposted in "What is it" but the ultimate goal is to sell it.
  9. I picked up this clutch some time back with some other parts. It goes on a round shaft with five squared splines similar to an early Warner transmission. It looks to have 8 or 16 clutches and I believe it ran in oil. It reminds me of the clutch described for the mercer cars. There are no markings that I can see. The clutch is disengaged by depressing square dogs that stick out of the other side. Can anybody suggest a possible make?
  10. The shaft that it fits has five squared splines. It appears to have run in oil and has 8 or 16 clutches. 8 3/8" across back side/ 1 3/4" shaft size.
  11. I don't have any spare parts
  12. I cannot say whether it will fit a 35 Buick or not because I don't know the similarity between the 35 Buick driveshaft and 48 Chevrolet driveshaft. The diameter of the shaft and tube would have to be the same.
  13. Still available. These are interesting units.
  14. i will work on posting some pictures. these are still for sale and i will entertain any offer.
  15. I need four 25" tires, tubes, and flaps, in any usable condition, to put a project up on wheels. This would be the 33x4, 34 x4.5,or 35x5 sizes of tires. If it is time for a new set of tires on your car, let me have your old ones. Call or text, 336-601-7959 Thank you!
  16. I need a switch and top for a wooden splitdorf coil box. The top is for the small single wooden upright coil box but I think the switches for the wood boxes are universal. It is a round black bakelite piece with a knob for the switch in the center. Call me, 336-601-7959 EST
  17. I have four Pasco wheel adapters off of a 1917 Maxwell, two wheel centers, and one hubcap. Pasco manufactured wire wheels with a large brass center nut. It would take some work to restore these but they would look great on an early car when done. All for $700 or best offer 336-601-7959 EST/ N.C.
  18. I have a Truckstell overdrive unit I'd like to sell. I bought this unit several years ago but it was not until I got it home that I realized it had been left out in the weather and was froze solid inside. It is not so much rust, just enough to glue it together. I soaked it in Kerosene for a while but Ive lost interest. The cables were cut when it was pulled out. I have the complete unit and have put it back together since this picture was taken. I offer it to interested parties with the understanding it will take some work to get it apart and cleaned up. By way of information, the Truckstell was an aftermarket unit for installation in closed driveshaft vehicles of the late 40's. I have compiled some literature. I have $100 invested and will take any offer. I will ship it but it is quite heavey. Thanx 336-601-7959 EST/NC haywood96@hotmail.com
  19. It seems that Graham has not been considered. I know the 32's had dual side moulding and dual vents. The 8's of 29-32 were full custom cars and coupes had a similar golf door. They also had hydraulic brakes. My vote would be Graham but I don't know the custom years well enough to be sure. Can you tell what the wheelbase is?
  20. Could I get better pictures of the wheels with a tape pulled across showing the diameter?
  21. I have one 650x16 whitewall tire for sale for $20. It is an old Gabriel tire with full tread. I just pulled it off my pickup. In North Carolina.
