  1. I am a little confused as well. I need to talk to the guy who has the hood. As I understood it originally, the hood was for a 1956 Studebaker Hawk, but when I questioned him before listing it here he said something about Studebaker using a supercharged Packard motor and the cars were called Packards. As I stated before, the hood has the supercharger scoop on it but has not been cut out to accommodate the supercharger so it would work on a non-supercharged car or a supercharged car.
  2. Bob, I have an old planetary I might be persuaded to part with but I know that the Cadillac and Ford transmissions are being reproduced.
  3. A friend has this hood in very good condition. It is off of a non-supercharged car but has the correct super charger scoop on it. The hood has not been cut out for the super charger. For pickup only in N.C.
  4. I am not sure this is the best place to post this thread. I am seeking some help in recreating a planetary transmission for a car I am trying to restore. The original was lost to history. The car is a one off created by a blacksmith around 1900. I have restored/recreated most of the rest of the car and have designed a transmission but am struggling with the best way to engage high gear. The problem is, I have very limited space in which to put the trans because of the cars construction, which limits the ability to shift into high. My progress can be viewed at 1900car.weebly.com Can you guys steer me toward someone who might be able to help?
