What is the correct spark plug wire color for a 46 Buick Super? Was this a plain black, as like modern wires or a braided type of wire? Thank you Mark

I had a chance to inspect that Riv. To be honest, for the money spent, I would have expected better quality. There was lack of detail work in the engine bay and in areas that I would have expected to be better for the money spent. Overall, a nice car, but I was rather let down to see it in person.

One just sold at Barrett Jackson for 70K. The owner claimed he had over $200K in the car. I looked it over really well, somebody got taken. But the car still sold for $70K

Rick, I am able to help where ever needed. email me or give me a call. I am only an hour away, and since I am part part of the Hawkeye chapter, I need to be putting my name in the hat.

Why dont you post these as well on this website. www.V8Buick.com This site is a little more about performance, so the heads and exhaust manifolds should go fast there.

OK, the 1918 is spoken for, and I am waiting to hear back on the 1917 registration.

We were digging thru some old family items and found 2 registration forms from 1917 and 1918 for my great uncles Ford Roadster, titled in the state of Missouri. These are in like new condition. I would like for them to go to someone who has one of these models. There may even be a chance the car survived. It is car number 846481. Available for the cost of shipping. Mark

$15.00 is NOT that big of a deal, come on guys. We drive and restore Buicks. They are premium motor cars, if you wanted to go cheap, you would have stayed with a Chevy. I cant see why an additional $1.25 a month can cause a hardship on anyone. If you think back at all the Nationals and Regionals you attended and how much fun you had getting togeather with friends or another family member, isnt it worth it! Mark

I am looking for a source to buy new glass and seals for my 46 Super Sedanette. Anyone have a source they like? Thank you, Mark

You can also call SMS Auto fabrics in OR. They wont have a kit, but they will have the correct material for your upholsterer to use.

Jake, Where do you live? You also have one of my favorite cars, the 88 T Type. I have had 3 now and loved every one of them. I would love to find another low milage one down the road. Had a chance to drive the 75 convert over to Ames a few weeks back. The 75 is just a dream to drive, the 455 performed flawlessly and the car rode as smooth as silk. An awesome day, life in Iowa can be good! Send me an e-mail, and I shoot you over a picture of my 46. marklob@gmail.com Mark

Bryan, If you end up getting the car, I know a transporter who will do a great job. He just brought a convertible for me out of Maryland, great rates and fast service. The 46 Sedanettes are wonderful cars, and will stop traffic. I purchased mine several years ago, and love it. The car is red with gray interior. It will be at the BCA Nationals this summer in Ames. Have questions on the car, just email me, I'll see if I can help. Mark
