I'm passing this information along for anyone interested in completing a restoration. The owner has owned this car for over 30 years and has completely restored the chassis and power train with all new or rebuilt items. Engine completely rebuilt, as well as transmission, suspension, brakes, etc. He has all the parts from the car to make the car complete, with much new material such as new original upholstery, all new glass, radiator, floor mats, even the paint. Chrome bumpers and guards have been re-plated. Some of the body work has been completed with new metal, but some rust areas remain. He started the restoration several years ago, but health problems prevent him from finishing it. The car is located in Livonia, Michigan (a little northwest of Detroit). I looked at the car a couple of days ago, and it's well worth completing, everything is there, and the work that has been done is good. He'd like to see someone finish it, and is asking $4500 or best offer. His name is Ken Vadnais and can be reached at 734-748-6557.
Hi, I'm selling my 1950 Sedanette 2d, it has a little over 55,000 miles. It has been 90% restored but I have almost all parts to get it to 100%. I have put over 21k into it and have all receipts. The car is black and is all original, brand new: Brakes, upholstery, paint, master cylinder, everything has been rechromed except for radio and door handles. I'm trying to get around 15k for it but willing to take best offer. This is my loss and your gain. Cash firstname.lastname@example.org. Has been garaged since being restored.
My brother's whack-job mother-in-law (really, he has papers) shoved Grandads two door fastback out of the barn, but didn't tell anybody. Car is intact - except for the skirts, naturally- but has been in the weather long enough it will need everything. Engine turns over, but no attempt has been made to force the old girl to run. I'll try to post the photo link soon, we'd like to get around 2500, and it is advertised locally (Kent Island, Md.) Last ran in '98?, some spares, reasonably close delivery possible.
