I have the manual on this auto but it does not give you procedure on how to time the distributor to engine after a complete tear down and re-assembly.
Only if the camshaft and distributor drive hasn't been disturbed.
Please help if you have any input or leads.
Thx
The original book I have of tech info does not explain how to time the distributor to the engine if the engine has been dismantled.
Only explains how if driveshaft for distributor has not been taken off the engine.
There are no marks on the driveshaft for the distributor to time it back to the cam.
Does the cam for the points move to re-time it or?
Thanks to anyone who might have that info.
Real good restoration candidate. Absolutely rust free. Missing seats but have most parts not seen in photos. One hour south of Dallas,Tx. New tires & tubes. Engine not crack and was running until I stored it a year ago. Asking $8500 O.B.O
1930 Chevrolet sedan. Obviously needs restoring. Absolutely no rust. I have most parts not visible in photos. Missing seats. One hour south of Dallas,Tx. Asking $8500 o.b.o
Hope not to scare ya but I am going to rely on my memory. I have two 1940 Cadillacs that both have factory turn signals. They are not self cancelling but I think 1941 is. I have repaired a few of the 1941's but can't remember how they were engineered to cancel. Good Luck!
