  1. R.I.P Frank. You drove the 40 Buick everywhere. Here at OSV in 2013. I always like talking with you.
  2. Well there is still some snow on the ground but the sky is blue, so why not take a ride? My wife and I took Teddy on the ride as well for the first ride if the new year.
  3. As Neil said. It is a model 51C which is a Super. Same engine as the Special. The one special order item is it does not have running boards. Now in 1941 running boards disappeared on all Buicks with the new styling. Maybe this was a "late" in production car? But being #161, I don't think so....
  4. My brother is looking for a Packard 120. He is interested in a 2 door car that is driven. He is not looking for a project car. He is looking or a car that does not have to be perfect but correct. If you know of such a car, please reach out to me. Thank you.

  6. My late buddy Bubba out for a ride to get ice cream.
  7. Is there any difference in 30W Non-detergent motor oil? Is there one that stands out better than the others? Are there any chemists out there that can shed any light on this? Thanks! I am using this in a non-rebuilt engine or 18 years.
  8. I was not a member of the Buick Club in 1989. I sure wish I had. I noticed in the book there were a bunch of kids at the meet as well. I hope they are active club members now. Another observation was the amount of cars in the attached picture.
  9. I saw one on eBay a couple of weeks ago for a Packard.
  10. Good luck on your restoration. I am sure it will be a fun project.
  11. I remember purchasing that book at the Vienna, VA national meet. He was a nice guy with a wealth of information. I love that book. I will keep my eyes out for another copy.
  12. I am looking or a picture of a pen and notepad for a 1937 Packard that would sit in the rear armrest. Thank you.
  13. I had already reached out to D&S Plating. They do not do bumpers. Thanks
  14. I can’t tell from the angle of the picture. Is there a rear bumper as well or two front bumpers?
  15. I have been trying to get quotes on rechroming bumpers for my 1937 Packard. I am not sure where to look after 3 local companies said they no longer have tanks to do that work. I am not looking to have to ship them. Thanks
  16. Happy New Year. Nice day here for a first ride of the year in my new classic. I saw a couple of 70’s cars out for a drive as well. It was fun to have her on the road.
  17. Don’t look for it. You may be disappointed to find it went to Australia like my 53 Oldsmobile super 88. I searched the internet by the VIN. Won’t do that again.
  18. Not mine. Classic car that would be the center of attention at a CCCA or CLC event! https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1941-cadillac-62-18/
  19. Thanks Ed. The seller delivered the car to me. I thought I would see the back end of the car when he dropped the gate. I don’t plan on trailering this car at all. It was purchased to be driven. The way it should be.
  20. Arrival day pictures. Couldn’t be happier.
