  2. Yes ,Mystic Valley Foundry in Somerville. I sent in loose pieces which I had prepped.Best thing is to check their website and/or contact them for your needs.   3. How heavy are the parts ? You might consider shipping them .I have had some parts done in Boston and very happy with the results. The person running the foundry is 3rd. generation,you have to like that. Ken

  7. I "googled" it and the same truck is shown as a 1922. Not sure if that is correct or not. Sure wish "Kempy" ( Dick Kemp) was still around,he's know!
  8. Ammonia is good for absorbing odors,vinegar also. After you get rid of as much as you can you might try rubbing a bit of vanilla extract on a metal surface not the fabric it self.

  12. From my 1912 catalog a #4 has an opening of 1-1/4 ". It does not give all the dimensions for the B type , but for the A type 1-1/4 " the bolts are 2- 5/8 ". Hope that helps Ken

  17. When I made my own (brass) I double nutted them along with loc-tite, So far so good . Ken
  18. I looked in my book ,it says the distance between the platinum points when the lever is depressed by the steel segments must not exceed ).0.5mm. I let the computer convert that .020 So it sounds like you're in the ballpark. Too bad no response from that link.

  21. A little more ........ I did a bit of reading and it's interesting . The clutch relies on the viscosity of the oil between the plates to transmit power ,not friction.You might also try some of the truck collecting groups, as well as Ebay or Amazon for technical literature.You may also want to search under the manufacture's name.
