  1. What ever it is, it's beautiful! Check the logo again. I think it is SM. Is the lens glass or plastic? What kind of bulb. May not be automotive. How 'bout an art deco theater chair, with this being mounted on the end chair to light the aisle?
  2. They could build one for you: https://thebrassworks.net/
  3. Car and Driver covered this in an article. So if you have back issues of the magazine...
  4. The Hyundai Excel sold in the U.S. in 1985-86 for $4995.
  5. There is a rain-sensor on the windshield. It is an optical device. Probably 50% of autos sold today have them.
  6. A Yugo owner walks in to an auto parts store. "Can I get a horn for my Yugo?" Parts counter guy, "Uh, sure. Sounds like a fair trade."
  7. Bought some hard to find Studebaker parts from them on eBay years ago.
  8. 1939 was the first model year for the Champion. Dang! I've ordered two harnesses from them and neither was labelled. Stymied me for a long time! Great job on putting this car back together! 👍👍

  16. Appears to be top-of-dash mounted, as opposed to in-dash. That should narrow it down a little. Appears to be 1940s to 1950s. https://sites.google.com/site/identifyinginstrumentpanels/home EDIT: Similar to 1938 Oldsmobile.
  17. https://theoldmotor.com/?p=128796 Some good racing footage at a track in Fresno, Ca.
  18. Study photos carefully. Including the underside. There are reproductions out there. Consult with Richard Quinn. He won't quote you a value, but will be able to tell you if this is indeed an original. And note: This Greek Goddess is Atalanta, not Atlanta.
  19. I hesitated before I posted the link. I'm glad you weren't offended with me possibly taking away a job for you.
  20. This ebay seller has an amazing selection of instrument lenses available new silk-screened. Including yours: https://www.ebay.com/itm/124993330649?hash=item1d1a2eddd9:g:JfIAAOSwxKFdm98M I cannot vouch for the quality, just have found him searching for something else.
  21. Looks like recent damage to the left rear fender, and the ladders look toasty in pic#8. Wonder if it was rescued from a fire itself recently.
