Stewart Vacuum Gas System - 1929 Dodge - Where to find this?

Recommended Posts

Greetings from lower Alabama.  New guy and hoping you can point me in the right direction for finding a part and give some insight on the package.

I'm trying to help a buddy out over in Europe that has a 1929 Dodge.  He's been restoring it for quite some time now over the years and has reached out to me for some help in acquiring a part.  Where in the world would I go about finding one?  He passed along a 12 page manual that I'm including a few pictures of.

Greatly appreciate it.

These appear  on this forum. Run an ad in the parts wanted section of this forum. I found mine on eBay.

Mine is a 216AF.

What part are you looking for ? Vintage Restoration and Reproduction  in Australia ha s gone out of business,  (retired) they are selling out whatever stock they have.  I just bought a DOD 73 for my distributor, a plate for modern points and a DOD 71. The Australian dollar is a good bargain at present They have covers and gaskets for vacuum tanks.

Sorry, can't seem to upright photo.

Guys, this is so easy to fix if you just try it a few times.

Simply right click on your upside down image and copy.

Then go to Paint (on every computer) and paste.

Then rotate 90 degrees right twice.
Then using the snippet tool (again, on every modern PC) select new and highlight the photo and copy.

Then return to your post on AACA forums and paste.

It literally takes about 5 seconds once you do it a few times.

Good morning, my buddy is needing the complete assembly. Not a rebuild kit.

My tank is specifically for my truck. Be sure and match tank size required for the vehicle.
Some engines have higher gas flow volume requirements. My DA6 truck needs longer 12 1/2 tank for more volume.

Call kramaton before someone else tries to buy it first.

All,

I have several Stewart tank models complete and/or in parts. And different Stewart mounting brackets.
I also have several new rebuild kits.

If anybody wants any of my parts, please PM me, with type of Stewart (dimensions of outside) and if you arent buying a complete one, which parts. l am selling off a lifelong collection of 1915-1929 exotic car parts that I’ve canabalized to get 12 complete cars out of.

I likely have anything you guys want.
