I need both a battery to battery tray bracket (12 inch) as well as the batter tray to motor mount (6-7 inch) I also could use, although not as dire a need, the correct size, cloth covered battery to solenoid as well as the solenoid to starter insulated cables. Does anyone have a source? to battery tray bracket (12 inch) as well as the batter tray to motor mount (6-7 inch) Do you have any? Or a source? nat
Truck, industrial and marine shops usually have the cable and terminals to make custom cables. Starter/generator repair shops are likely to as well. Wrap them with friction tape if the shiny plastic insulation looks out of place.
dl456
Brillman is your best bet here. Custom made to size with proper terminals. Cloth covered 1ga., no problem. Dennis
ron hausmann
Lewis - google “welding cables” and you will get dozens of suggested vendors who do heavy-duty cables made to order. All heavy gauges available. Ron Hausmann P.E.
PONTIAC1953
for 6 volt systems, I always recommend either #2 gauge or #0 gauge wire for battery cables and the original braided wire ground cable. I've heard that welding cables make excellent battery cables.
