Reynard
https://kansascity.craigslist.org/cto/d/kansas-city-1949-buick-roadmaster/7673214084.html 1949 Buick Roadmaster Convertible, yellow with black interior. Excellent mechanical condition and very good cosmetically. I have owned the car since 2001 and have driven it regularly over the years and kept in in good condition. Everything works except the clock, radio, and hydraulically operated front seat. Hydroelectric windows updated to electric motors, 12V conversion, dynaflow rebuilt, etc. Still has the original leather upholstery on the seats. John_S_in_Penna
"12-volt conversion," the seller notes. It looks overall like a nice car, but nothing should have required an update to non-factory electrical specs. That alone would be likely to keep me away.
deac
Two things that bug me; one is the 12V conversion and 2 is the hydraulic seat is inop!. Though it looks to be a nice car for some reason it just doesn't grab me; maybe it's the yellow paint

Hans1965
The black interior is just not good on such a car.
TerryB
Rocker panel under the passenger door looks strange, like it’s pushed in.

Black interior on a convertible doesn't make sense to me. If you live in one of the southern states that black interior would make you miserable in the summer time. Also don't understand the 12 volt conversion, as my 6 volt system works just fine. That said, the '49 Buick sure had some sweet styling that year. Beautiful car, no doubt. Bentleyboy
Nice looking car, I wonder if the 12Vlt conversion was for the electric window replacement.
1922bigsix
Thank you for pointing out the rocker panel on the passenger side. It was dirty when the photo was taken and looked like a shadow. When clean it looks normal. Interior black is the original color. I'm currently working on converting the power seat to electric using a linear actuator motor. It is much less expensive than going back to hydraulic. Tom
