Fossil
After looking this over and thinking about it, this is a VERY nice car and the price might not be out of line. I sure would like to take it for a drive. The interior looks incredible.

Fossil
Thanks Terry but my travel days are over. Can't help but think this would set and ride like the 70 Buick Electra we had. Great hi-way cruiser.
The 55er
Exactly whose idea was it to drill a hole in the hood & install that vertical wreath hood ornament? Still a nice one, GLWTS. 1

Your astute observations are always helpful, 55er. I never scrutinize the cars so carefully, since I'm just a casual observer. Having 2 Cadillac crests on the hood is superfluous! The 1962 crest lying flat on the hood is much lower and wider, like the cars of the era. Is this perhaps a $17,000 car?
The 55er
Might not hurt the value too much, it just sticks out like a sore thumb.
rocketraider
And would be a deal-breaker for some of us. Superfluous barely describes it. Gauche says it better. Wonder how much it would cost to get rid of it, trying to fill holes and color-match 60 year old light metallic paint? A 1962 is hands down my favorite Cadillac. It just LOOKS like a Cadillac should look, and perfectly captures the optimism of the American Space Age.
deac
whew, that's a nice Caddy. Hope it goes to a good home that will preserve it.
Fossil
I don't know enough about these cars to have known the difference. Now that it's pointed out the two emblems together don't look good at all. Especially since the wreath looks like it's about to fall on it's face. 6T-FinSeeker
On 3/29/24, Seller's Facebook ad is still active. Asking price remains $25,000 as originally listed.
69merc
I think the lack of AC is working against his price. He may have to face the reality of today's buyer's horror of no AC. I'm in NE Ohio, and I can face no AC with hardly a care, but I would still see that as a major flaw, especially in a Caddy ht.
B Jake Moran
$25,000? Let’s examine the market. 1st, it’s nice but it’s a 4 door Cadillac from 1962. Not a muscle car. Not a Camaro or Mustang. We like this car but we love old cars. This car is on Facebook and reaches a limited audience. The collector who may see this and has a spare $25,000 cash is almost non existent. Price sells cars in this consideration. I would pay $12,500 for this car. Half his asking. Am I being a low baller? I don’t think so.
