• Driven 52,746 miles
• Automatic transmission

• This vehicle has no significant damage or problems

All original with few exceptions. Kept sheltered nearly all its life. Original paint. Low mileage. Motor runs, transmission shifts through all gears. Solid body with minimal rust/dents. New whitewall tires, starter, fuel pump. New front wheel cylinders. Rubber brake hoses replaced a few years ago. Not perfect, but a great start for restoration or driven as is with a little work. $9500.

Cool car and for the right price I could see making it a driver. I’d just clean up the exterior but the seats and headliner would have to go.

The owner must be unaware of the “Christine” surcharge for late 50’s Plymouths that says all of them no matter what condition are worth at least $20,000.  And if nice, a whole lot more.

Disinfect the interior after removing the headliner. Then some good quality seat covers. POR 15 the floor and put in carpet. Protect the exterior bare metal and primer. Mechanical safety and maintenance. Now it's a seriously nice old finned driver. NO RESTORATION NEEDED!

Original seats, solid floor. 318 poly 2bbl. base model. NO ac, power steering works well. Many new items including gas tank and sending unit, white wall tires, rubber brake hoses, master cylinder and and front wheel cylinders. Motor runs smooth, but does smoke a little, possibly from lack of use. Transmission shifts firm through all gears. Great candidate for restoration or driven as is with some minor work.

They sure did.  Beginning 1956.  
Always scarce however. 
 

 

I think that the only car that has more posts are the 1959-1960 GM wagons.

I like the 318 poly.  Dependable as a slant six with just enough cruising power to blance the MPG. My 65 Fury convertible still has enough giddy up with one.
