58L-Y8
Here are the photos, ambitious expensive project to be sure.
Crusty Trucker
$50,000. Santa Rosa CA Purists can relax, it's too expensive for a street rod project.

auburnseeker
Depending on how many parts are missing, too expensive to restore as well. Project Cords are not doing well in the market.
rydersclassics
I have always loved Cords. A couple of questions for the Forum. Behind the drivers seat on the floor is a cast aluminum part, is that part of the transmission? Kind of scary.

It is one of the aluminum heads.
Xander Wildeisen
I think it looks like a nice project. They are very sleek when they do not have the side pipes. Beautiful cars.
trimacar
I like them without pipes too, of course I’m prejudiced, since I own a standard phaeton! I was once offered more than 50k for mine. Not restored, bad repaint in the 1960s, was a good driver and we’re freshening mechanicals now. At some point in the near future it will be available, I’m on the lookout for a nice 1910 tour car, the HCCA seems to be having a lot of fun lately!

Angelfish
Are parts available for this car? What a fantastic project but not much good if you can't get what you need.
m-mman
ANYTHING is “available”. The problem is affordablity. Cord parts (even reproduced) are never cheap.
alsancle
You can get almost every part.

My car was missing a few minor things, easily found years ago, and I think the loan to buy them gets paid off in 2027…. 1
