B Jake Moran
Wow Jim. I can't believe that would get 100 yards without an officer pulling it over. No one should be following.
Trulyvintage
I have actually seen this before. Between dusk & dawn and on weekends when vehicle enforcement is off duty. Jim
Steve_Mack_CT
This seems to make no sense (I reallize that is the reason for the pic) with an empty bottom. That should earn a loss of CDL. Are we sure this isn't photoshopped? 1

No one should be following. That acts as a type of rear air spoiler for the truck. You see Norm, not only does it increase stability for the truck towing the trailer. It also can double your gas mileage in some cases.😂
Trulyvintage
If you enlarge the image - you can see the upper deck ramp extensions are into the rear frame in front of the rear wheels - there is more of the car technically on the trailer than you see at first glance. Still unsafe however. Jim

The driver may have just dropped and because of the wet weather decided to continue on his next stop with the cars positioned as they are. EmTee
A GMC "Sierra Grande" - not a common sight, even back in the '70s...

Xander Wildeisen
Standing in a parking lot drinking my coffee, and this pulls in. Told the owner he could put the car on my empty trailer. He did not go for it.
stretch cab
Not to take the thread in another direction but beware when booking car delivery. I work for a major trailer manufacturer in the repair parts division so I see car haulers everyday. I can't believe how the Ukrainians and Russians have taken over the market. I'm afraid from how I see the trailers come in, that many of the young drivers that do not speak English, do not have much of a driving history either. Many companies de-rate their trailers so non CDL drivers can pull them only to overload them.
