plymouthcranbrook
Well I thought it might be a savable car at a better price until I saw the dreaded words-No title. That friends is the end of that.

Too much "patina" for me.
deac
Not interested in dealing with title issues. It's a definite deal breaker in my book!
The 55er
The title issue definitely hurts but you don't see many 1957 Dodges anymore and this is an upscale Custom Royal. It looks complete, untouched and well equipped with PS, PB, dual exhaust (with tips) and the correct spinner hubcaps. One BIG plus is it doesn't appear to have any rust issues. I don't know about the $7450 price but it says obo. The seller states it will run with some minor tinkering. There are definitely some vintage Swept-Wing fans out there (I know one personally) and I wouldn't be surprised if someone negotiated a deal on this one and bought it for parts or possibly a restoration attempt despite the title problem. Just sayin'. 1

kingrudy
IMO this is a very handsome car when finished. I like the interior and the two tone paint colors. The title might not be as big a problem as it seems on face value. If you have the previous owners name and a bill of sale in a family owners name, it might be OK. DMV will run the plate to see if it shows up on any stolen vehicle records. This could be a killer car when done.
Brooklyn Beer
Guessing some states are worse then others to get a title. I have never had issues in Texas. Longest it has ever taken is 4 weeks wait . https://www.txdmv.gov/motorists/buying-or-selling-a-vehicle/bought-a-vehicle-with-no-title

mikewest
I love it when it says NO TITLE. The car can usually be bought half itsl value and there isn't a dozen buyers knocking on the sellers door.

I can guarantee you that it's going to go from minor tinkering to major expense once the wheels start turning. It's a shame. There are a lot of good parts here but is there really that much demand for them.
