rocketraider Posted January 18, 2023 Share Posted January 18, 2023 The tube looks like a road draft tube for crankcase ventilation, but I've never seen one attached to a breather cap. Doesn't look like that would scavenge a crankcase very efficiently. How big diameter is the opening? Carburetor throat size or oil fill tube size? Dave39MD Posted January 19, 2023 Share Posted January 19, 2023 (edited) That looks like a 29 or 30 Chevrolet air filter. The tube goes from the oil filler/breather tube to the air filter. The 29 and 30 were slightly different.
