1931 Ford Model A mail truck. Truck is complete and ran when parked 25 years ago. Been sitting in the garage since.

Isn’t it funny how non running old vehicles possess some type of magnetic aura that attracts all kinds of junk to pile up around them.  Seems like everything in the barn or garage wants to cover them up.

Very neat vehicle, but I love the ”running when parked” descriptor which graces so many car for sale ads.  
 

Running perfectly?  Barely running?  Smoking like a cigar bar? Knocking and complaining the whole way? Running but locked up on the last foot?

 

Interesting vehicle but getting it running is a 1K to 10K gamble…

These are beautiful when restored correctly. I thought they had a cult like following? It does seem reasonable priced, Im surprised it hasnt sold yet.

Fifty years ago, I had several friends really into model As. Through them I met a fellow that had a model A mail truck. It was at that time considered to be one of the rarest and most valuable cars in the local model A club! Funny how fads like that come and go.

I did get a kick out of seeing this one being advertised.

cool truck but lot's of wood. It would be better if the truck was cleared out and the parts  laid out on the ground then you can make a better assessment.

I like it. Get it running, new tires, restore it as you go.
