bryankazmer
The workmanship of that horrid interior is actually pretty good. I do not understand the false economy of cheap materials.
B Jake Moran
I am not a white fan so that’s a “meh” for me but the price is getting close to making one think it is a good buy. As far as the interior, looking at the painted metal, it’s likely close. And we are looking at photos. In real life the car might be decent. We have seen some (asking) $30,000 cars here recently with worse interiors. It’s about price. If a guy can get this for $12,000 then enjoy.

JamesR
I really like this car...and I'm not a huge fan of the '59. Looks great in two door bubble top form. Though likely not original, the interior fabric doesn't bother me at all, mostly because outrageous was all the rage in '59. On the other hand, anyone with that many fuzzy dice should be prosecuted. If the pics reflect the true condition of the car, $12,500 seems like a good deal to me.
deac
I think the upholstery does hold the car back! But hey that's me! I would like to know what the seller who's flipping this car was thinking when buying the car. The market spoke when the previous owner tried selling it. Probably not a good time to flip it as the economy isn't on solid ground....
kingrudy
I agree that the upholstery does not look even close to original, but Super 88 coupes do not show up very often. 12K is very reasonable for this car.
The 55er
I don't care for the upholstery job as well but with all the vibrant colors available in the 50s, the plain white look isn't helping things either.

I will agree that a different color sure would look nice on this car, but this is a 63 year old car that has been garage kept (have to in Wyoming) and it is a Super 88 coupe. You could pick another color, but this model doesn't show up real often. I think a 59 four door was listed not long ago in two tone. I am a large fan of these cars.

This is a convertible with a $56,000 price difference, so if that amount of money is insignificant to you then these two cars are comparable. I would be happy with $56,000 in my wallet driving the white one without the convertible top and the ugly continental kit.
