1963 Cadillac Park Avenue
All original true surviver from Pittsburgh. Paint isn't perfect has some road chips and lacquer cracking but still in good shape for 60 year car. All chrome is original and in good shape. Drivers side of front seat has few rips. Runs and drives perfectly. Drive it home. Everything works except air conditioning it's the r12 system I think it just needs freon. Only 1,575 made.

The Standard Catalog of American Cars, 1946-1975, Edited by John Gunnell states only 1,575 1963 Cadillac Park Avenue 4dr hardtops (215" OAL) were built.  Apparently, complain as some might, the Series 62 and DeVille 4dr hardtops (223" OAL) sold a grand total of 75,634 cars.

Park Avenues were an attempt at a more urban Cadillac that could be parked easier.  I believe 61-62 had no badge, only 63 PAs.  Yes it’s rare but it’s essentially a SdV.

Yet another car that likely needs $2,000 plus of AC repair described as “just a can of Freon”.

A/C belt removed is symptom of much more repair/replace service needed on the R-12 Freon-based system.

Nice car, but may be subject to significant additional work since that part had bee deferred/delayed/ignored, and for how long?
