@JayG thanks for those pictures.  I didn't even notice the color mismatch when I looked at the pictures originally.  Can't tell from the ad pictures whether the car for sale still has those neat opera lights on the sail panels.  Your upholstery looks really good for being 90 years old!

Agree that some interior replaced, including the front seats, they don't look original either.

 

Always had a soft spot for these big Buicks.  They've always seemed to be on the back burner, so to speak, when anyone talks Classic cars (as in CCCA recognized, which this is).

 

I also agree on the wood, make sure the doors don't sag, even to taking the back end of them and rocking them.

 

If this car were 100% original and untouched, then I can see the asking price.  I think the car has had work done to it many years ago, so while it may look old it's just a 1960s partial restoration to keep the car on the road.  Your money, and if you love the car when you see it the price really shouldn't be the main criteria for purchase.
