John_S_in_Penna
Sebastien, the pictures you post are not difficult to identify. Americans, especially the American car experts on this forum, know these cars. They may even have grown up with them!

John, Since I identified the car, can I call myself an expert?😁

The Swing-Away feature is clearly visible. I wonder why they never had a console shifter in these & the square birds. It looks kinda lame without one. lump
Sebastien, Of course we know that, for someone in France these car photos are indeed much more difficult to identify. We're glad to have you on this forum, so keep right on sending photos, if you like. We'll be pleased to identify them for you. And who knows? Perhaps you can help us identify some European car photos too. Cheers!

Is that the "swung-away" position in the OP pic? I'd guess driving position is centered under the gauges. I suppose tilt and telescope replaced Swing-Away. They're handy but the wheel still can get in the way of entry and exit.
sébastienlebrun
Thank you all. Indeed, I'd be happy to help identify European cars, especially French ones.
LI_BENTLEY
American cars did not have a floor mounted shifter then, was old-fashioned 1930' s throwback. Then advertising people made it fashionable so we all are driving old fashion cars. 14 hours ago, 1935Packard said: Corrnering the White market, I wonder what Ed knows....
