alsancle
I do believe you are correct that the 66A was the big boy for 1928 followed by the more famous 66B in 29/30 and the Plaid side.
58L-Y8
Thanks A.J. for the verification. Wonder if it could be the 135" wheelbase model?
alsancle
I was wondering that myself. Looks to be a decent wheelbase.
BucketofBolts
A very rare vehicle. Assume only a very few examples of this once expensive car.

Best case for this W-K 66A is a hardcore Willys-Knight enthusiast buys it, restores it cost-be-damned as an act of historic preservation. Not likely to happen, more likely to end up a pile of mechanical parts after someone eviscerates it and 'upgrades' it to be a 'really cool rod...'
edinmass
Sadly it’s more likely that the motor is removed and made into a cut-away.
John_Mereness
They are neat cars, but what a challenging project of something with marginal value (Ed makes good points !!!) - everyone likes a stray puppy, but ....
stakeside
Just curious of the cost to rebuild that sleeve valve engine.

I am not sure many need rebuilt - most I know are just driving around original cars with various stages of cosmetic restoration. I assume the standard 10K plus for a block alone without accessories or detailing.
