JRA
What car is this one? Picture took in mid-1920s. Could be a 1908 Star? thanks Julio
8E45E
A Mitchell(?) Mitchells had slanted radiators in those years. Craig
AHa
The round radiator on this car indicates it is a french built car. The Dragones had one several years ago but I can't remember the make. Someone help me out.
Craig Gillingham
It's a Hotchkiss.
1937hd45
May be a Delaunay Bellville, round radiator and unique hood louvers. Bob
nzcarnerd
With louvres like that it has to be a Hotchkiss. I wonder what the photo location is. The body looks to be - maybe - later than the chassis??
JRA
Picture was taken around 1926, in a country region in Brazil. The driver’s son is a friend of mine. Before WW1 the Brazilian market had many European cars. After the war? It was dominated by US cars. What year could the car be? 1910? Thanks, Julio
Terry Bond
Agree, Hotchkiss. Not sure of the date but certainly much later than 1910. I'm guessing late teens. Terry
1937hd45
Guess it is a Hotchkiss, this is the one that Dragone Motorcars had. Bob
Gunsmoke
Interesting that louvers in OP appear to open forward, perhaps to aid cooling in a very warm climate? Owner flipped hood end to end?
AHa
12/35 Hotchkiss Notice similarity of front fenders. I would agree the car above sports a later body.
