victorialynn2
Oh my gosh. I remember those! We had a new one when gas prices were high. It was the neonish, orangey-yellow color of the stripes in the road.

Steve_Mack_CT
They used to be pretty common, and a kid in school had one. Not sure I have seen a running example in 20 years. Good luck, this one may take some looking!
Zimm63
They were great little trucks, but tended to dissolve over time. Especially on the East coast.
md murray
Can you imagine being able to go out and buy one of these back in the day? Just a fun little low priced pickup? That will never happen again
Grimy
My first *new* vehicle was a 1975 Datsun longbed pickup 4-speed (no 5-speed available that year), which I drove 162,000 miles, mostly on a 50 mile/day commute, before replacing it with a 1983 Ford Ranger V-6. It was a good little truck but jouncy and the flat-spring seats beat my kidneys to mush. Went thru 2 clutches but that wasn't me--I sold the Ranger with 240k miles on the factory clutch. The Datsun served its purpose, but I'm not tempted to acquire another one.
Bush Mechanic
These little utes are a minor cult here in Tasmania. Young blokes are looking for them, and there are some nicely restored and tricked up examples around. Cheap to run and nothing to prove.
