JZRIV
The Riviera Owners Association International meet is headed west in 2017 and will be held in Reno NV June 26th-June 29th (Monday-Thursday) The host hotel is the Boomtown Casino Hotel 9 miles outside of town away from the congestion of Reno, but close enough for those who want to venture into town. The hotel room rate is $74.99 + a $6 resort fee. There will be a bus tour to Historic Virginia City and many options for self-guided tours to places such as the well renowned Harrah Collection at the National Auto Museum http://www.automuseum.org/plan-your-visit and of course the spectacular Lake Tahoe area less than an hour away. Please check the ROA website for up to date information, the schedule of events, and the registration form. http://www.rivowners.org/features/annualmeet/Reno17/index.html As usual ROA will have a large hospitality/event room open all week with refreshments including beer, evening Hors d’oeuvres and fun activities. We hope that you will join us. The Registration deadline is June 1st.
KongaMan
The blurt that came in the Riview sez "Only those who are registered for the full week and wear their name tag have access to the Event Room and vendors." For clarification: that means that you must be registered for the full week to access the Event Room on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, correct? And if you register for Thursday only, you can still get in to the Event Room, but only on Thursday? What days and hours will the vendors be selling? What kind of beer? What you have stated is correct. The hospitality room/vendors is restricted to full week registered members Monday-Wednesday and then opens to the public on show day which is Thursday. The vendors are typically there most of the day when the room is open Mon-Wed. See event schedule for hospitality room hours. The vendors will clear out by early Thursday afternoon since the room needs to setup for the evening banquet. Usually its Coors Light.

EmTee
Is there a way to get a color print of the 2017 ROA Reno/Tahoe Meet flyer cover photo? I think one of those would look nice framed on a wall in my garage. Edited March 19, 2017 by EmTee (see edit history)

Ray_Knott
A full color print of the 2017 Meet drawing is on page 35 of the September/October 2016 Riview. If you don't have that issue email me with your request Ray Knott ray@rivowners.org
EmTee
Thanks Ray -- I'll go back and look that up. I was thinking of something larger, but I'll see what the one in the Riview looks like first... -Tim
JZRIV
Tim, As you probably noticed in the recent Riview featuring Cory Correll's meet artwork, he offered large size 18x25" prints of the 1991 and 1992 meets. I have both posters and were outstanding artwork. Years later I asked Cory why he still had them for sale and he said there was very little demand. That's why he never offered a large size again and consequently why other meet artwork isn't offered in large prints. Cost to get a small number printed is prohibitive.
07 HD
It is with much sorrow I must say the Riviera I thought would be ours for ever has been sold. The 1967 we have owned and been the care taker of and cared for over 15 years is no longer with us, somebody at a BOP show here in Az. said he had to have it And seeing everything is for sale he paid the price. Now the good news is we are looking for another Riviera the ROA is to much fun to not belong to great people, great meets, just all around great organization. Chimera
Nice 67. I am curious what type of Riviera you are looking for? Year/color/so on...
07 HD
at this point don't have a specific year or color in mind 1st gen or silver arrow but something that does not need any body work mechanics I can handle
