Guest Doreen
Thanks everyone with your help with the last batch of parts I posted. I've been to busy yesterday and today to get to any. I may try to squeeze some in before 4:00 but not sure at this point. Dave from NJ that is to funny your wife has the same name, you don't hear it to often. As far as rolling in car parts I've been doing it for almost 20 years, but not parts this old and dirty...just new parts. Hey Pat no I'm in Pompton Lakes and I don't think you saw these parts before. They were found in the ceiling rafters of a body shop that is getting a make over. They were found about a week before I started this thread. thanks again all

Bleach
It looks like it's from a 55 Dodge Mayfair 4 door. The only thing it confuses me is the left panel also has a fuel door opening. Bleach
I knew there was a resemblance to a 55 Plymouth but I'm still confused about the fuel door opening on the left panel. Could it be for a Plodge?

Looks like this is a 53-54 Chevy 210 I believe Rear door outer molding above gravel shield according to the part number. The gravel shields were smooth and the bump at the top are actually a separate molding. The 2 door sedans looked similar. I'm not sure the difference. Dave Mellor NJ
The Dodge is similar but the Plymouth is exact. I think you're looking at an inside view of the right side 1/4 panel, Bleach. The gas door is definitely on the right.
Bleach
I think you're right Dave, especially about the inside view. I never enlarged the photo and I thought there were 2 panels. It's a bit of an optical illusion.

Guest Doreen
Thank you Larry W, Bleach, seeker and Dave from NJ you guys are the best!! Question: I have what looks like a back glass w/weatherstrip, were there any markings on the glass back then? If so where on the glass should I look?
auburnseeker
I'm not 100 percent sure but they may be right in the very center on the bottom. If not I would try either side. You will need someone with an old glass book though to determine what it is.
