  1. Tom: Just out of curiosity, would the 454 non-GS '65s equipped with the LX code motor also have the BS code transmission?
  2. Looking for a comfortable, powerful, stylish daily driver? Up for sale is my wife's '07 Lucerne CXS with 54,500 miles. Car is located in Mt. Horeb, WI. 2007 Buick Lucerne CXS Asking $18,500.
  3. I had a reproduction window sticker made for my '64 by Mike Trommeter, who hangs out over on the v8buick forum. He did a great job and I was very pleased. You can check out his web site here... Buick Window Stickers I told him the name of the town where my car was purchased, and he had a database of the dealers that were in existence then. Not sure where he got the info from, but it made it easy for me. You may want to check with him before you place your order. I always prefer to buy from a guy who is into Buicks as much as I am... Just my two cents.
  4. Welcome Lasse! You have excellent taste in classic American cars. A warning from personal experience, it is very easy to get hooked on Riviera's and it's hard to stop at just one!! Enjoy your car and welcome to the ROA...
  5. JohnAAA: The seller of these wheels also sells reproduction center caps for a number of different Buick rally wheels. If you email him (instead of posting here) to inquire he can confirm if he has what you need. I have purchased several different center caps from Mitch over the years and have been very happy...
  6. Thanks to all for your nice comments about my car. I fell in love with the coral mist color when I saw my first (and only) one at the meet in Eureka Springs in 2005. I told my wife Cheryl if I ever found another one I would buy it. This car has had an extensive restoration done after we purchased it which took over two years to complete. I am very pleased with the results and it appears that other Riv fans agree. What a thrill to be voted/selected "best of show." Ray has already "insisted" that I do a write up about the car for the Riview which I will do soon. Thanks again,
  7. With only one bid @ $9k, that was definitely a "shill" bid and the car has not sold. If you contact the seller through eBay he/she will still have it...
  8. Cancer sucks. Sorry for your loss. You'll find a nice home for this car here (on this forum)...
  9. Contact Gene Guarnere (AB&G) he probably has what you need. His contact info is listed in the Riview and on the ROA website...
  10. I'm guessing the seller may be confusing "factory" installed with "dealer" installed. I highly doubt this is a factory option...
  11. Jason's comments x 2. Thanks for posting Ted...
  12. CTX-SLPR: According to Darwin's "Options Not Included" article in the Riview regarding the 1970 cars, there were 394 cars produced in Regal Black - a mere 0.95% of total 1970 production. The article indicates that black was not an available color option initially, but became available later in the production year...
  13. Really looks great black/black/black fenwick. I like it!
  14. Glenn: You can get the signal lenses here... GM Obsolete: Vintage GM Parts 888-567-8081 Scroll down the "current specials" list on the homepage, they are second to the bottom on the left column.
  15. Thanks for posting all of the pics guys! Looks like it was good show...
  16. Looking forward to this becoming a regular post Jim!
  17. Congratulations Anton on your new Riviera! I am certain you will enjoy it. I'll raise a glass of vodka this evening in your honor...
  18. No, unfortunately you cannot use plates from your vehicle's year of manufacture on a collector car in Wisconsin. Collector plates are very reasonable however as long as you have another daily use vehicle also registered. There is a one-time fee of $150 for collector plates (vehicle must be 20 years old or older) that are essentially good forever. No annual renewal fees...
  19. Ditto Jim's thoughts. I would also tell you to contact your ROA Regional Coordinator in WA - John Andreassen. He's a great guy and someone that can help you network with other Riv owners in your area. Here's a link to his contact info... Welcome to the Riviera Owners Association Homepage Welcome!
  20. After looking at your gallery photos, it looks like the trunk never even had a bag of groceries put in it - an incredible time capsule!
