  1. Looking for a complete set of the optional aluminum wheels from an '81 to '85 Riviera T-Type. See the photo below. It's my understanding that the lug nuts are also unique to this wheel, and I'll need them as well. Please PM or email me at: BadgerRivFan@gmail.com I'll be in Flint and I will have my checkbook!
  2. For those of you who could not attend, here's some photos of the "Best of Show" car from Galena. It's a gorgeous '65 owned by Paul Cox of Kenosha Wisconsin. This is 2x4 bbl. LX code non-GS car. I did not get any interior shots, as at the time I did not know it was going to win best of show! Enjoy it!! On Wisconsin!
  3. Very informative Darwin - thanks!

  7. Looking for some help in determining the correct paint to use for restoring the steel wheels on my '64. Obviously I know that the color is black, but should it be a matte finish or glossy? Can anyone post a link to an Eastwood product (or any other provider) that has what I need? Thanks!!
  8. Randy: I believe that the '69 and '70 front fenders are interchangeable (other forum members can confirm or deny this). If they do, here's a lead from craigslist... http://longisland.craigslist.org/pts/647386913.html Good luck!
  9. Thanks Roberta and dadphelps. Much appreciated.
  10. Took my '70 Riv to my mechanic due to a leaky radiator, and was advised that my carburetor also has a leak at the inlet. It appears that the inlet threads have been messed with, and as a result my mechanic says I need a new carburetor (unable to rebuild or repair). I know I can buy an after-market Edelbrock or Holley, etc., but I'm a stock guy and would really like to find a replacement Q-Jet. The carb number I need is 7040247LA. Anybody have one they'd be willing to part with? Thanks!
  11. Not mine, but if you're interested in a '68 this looks like a nice one to check out... http://cosprings.craigslist.org/car/656720155.html
  12. Both Kevin and Dick received my vote! Send in your ballots!!
  13. The dash in my convertible is getting pretty faded due to sun damage. Last year in our welcome kits at the Asheville meet, there was some information about a recoloring kit called "Fade Away" from Just Dashes in California. Has anyone had any experience with this product/company? Here's a link to the product on their web site... http://www.justdashes.com/FadeAway.htm Your comments, feedback, experiences would be appreciated.
  14. I've seen one of these mirrors on a '73 boat tail, but what other year Rivs would this type of mirror be correct for? http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NOS-BUICK...3QQcmdZViewItem
  15. I know Randy is not a favorite of many, but just thought I'd throw this out there... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Buick-Riv...emZ200184572141
