When my TCC solenoid needed to be replaced it only occurred when the engine was hot.

GREAT question.... I finally found the last NEW idle load compensator for these cars. Now the book tells me I need to adjust the fast idle with the ILC. How many different adjustments for this car can be made manually? Anyone ? ? ?

Hum, it's a black box about the size of a pack of cigarettes. If I read correctly he has a 79. Those should have wires coming out of it, maybe a green one and two orange ones. That's provided the one for 79 was the same as the 82/83. I don't have a picture of one.

Has anyone heard anything else about this?

Tim, I switched mine to my work address, it worked, then I switched it back to my personal address and it just worked. Try going in an re-entering your email address and clicking save at the bottom. It's under MY STUFF ---> PROFILE. I'll see if it continues to work.
