  3. I received a call from a man in Wyoming, he has a 1935 Dictator 3 window coupe. When he bought the car it had already been modified by installing a SBC engine. There are parts he is not using such as tail lights , side mount hardware and dash cluster. He needs hood hinges.   6. Most relined shoes use a very hard lining that has no asbestos in it. These linings are so hard that it takes a lot of effort to stop your car. Try to find original asbestos lining if you can find an old time shop to rivet the linings or try to find N.O.S shoes.

  16. I have a couple of T83 transmissions for pickup only in Joliet Illinois. They came with a stash of 1935 parts including engine parts such as crank and internal parts and an aluminum head. The reason That I want to contact him was that I received a request for a commutator head for a Delco 723A starter.I know that there had been a lot of discussions on this newsgroup about these pot metal starter parts and someone suggested that Jason machines these out of a solid aluminum bar.   20. Studebaker offered a 6 volt trunk mounted air conditioner for retrofit in 1953 Studebakers. These were made by NOVI and were used in Packards and Buicks since 1952. They were first used on 1955 Studebakers and offered for earlier cars as retrofits.   22. I have a customer who is looking to add AC to his 1939 Commander. The car has the original engine etc. Did anyone do this? Vintage Air does not have a setup for this car. He is located in Chicago. Any suggestions welcome Robert Kapteyn.
