  1. I've got some good ones, but the forum won't let me upload pics today. Maybe later.
  2. This is a repro. Can you post a better picture of the bottom? On the rear of the base it should say 1924 and have the name of the sculptor which I believe was J.Durujinsky (sp?).
  3. My dad had two Chevettes. They do look familiar.
  4. Is there a ring that can come off? Post a picture of the lamp.
  5. If you open up the vacuum tank, its operation will be evident to you. They are very simple and reliable if kept clean. There are rebuild parts available for these as well. Is it a Kingston or Stewart tank?
  6. Number 3 is 1951 Oldsmobile. I had one of those.
  7. The tank on my PA was painted black.
  8. According to the parts catalog, the 10A wheels are for 32" x 4" tires with for a diameter of tire seat of 24". The 10B calls for 32" x 4.95" tires with a diameter of tire seat of 23". Later 10C cars used 5.25/21 tires. It shows all series 9 cars using lock rings.
  9. This is what it's supposed to look like. They are nearly impossible to find.
  10. Somebody in the Franklin club reproduced these a while back, complete with the cap and decal. I think they're all gone now, but you might want to poke around the Franklin Club site, H.H. Franklin Club: Home Page
  11. These guys can probably do it. ATWATER KENT MANUFACTURING COMPANY
  12. Ok, now that I've pressured Mr. Moskowitz into making medallions, I'm going to be a wuss and not make it to Louisville. I might come just as a spectator, but not with a car. Can I still get a medallion?
  13. I'm not going to make it, and I was about to cancel my reservation. Send me a PM, and maybe we can transfer the room to you.
  14. I just picked up the radiator shell for my Plymouth from Nassau Chrome in Mineola, NY. The price was very reasonable ($325), and it looks great. It was very ugly when it went there. They can be reached at 516-746-6666.
  15. Hi Gordon, I removed the entire handbrake assembly from the car, and attempted to remove the piece you need. Unfortunately, I broke the rod off inside the part. It can be drilled out, but I'll leave that to you. Sorry. I'll mail it off to you tomorrow. send me a PM with your address.
  16. How many hubcaps do you need?I have a bunch that need re-chroming, but are good.
  17. Lexol Leather Care Including Vinylex and Kozak Products This stuff is amazing. We use it on 100 year-old leather, and it really brings it back to life.
  18. Did the PA come with a thermostat? Mine does not have one, the owners manual does not show one, but I've seen listings for them and a spare head I have has a thermostat in it.
  19. Lincolns up to 1930 were Model L. That may be the reason for the part number discrepancy?
  20. Part number E-5-1714. I've been told it's a Left Front Fender for a Model 35-B, Chalmers 7-Passenger. Fender could be used on any Chalmers with a 122" w.b. chassis, from 1917 through 1921. It appears to be NOS. $200.
  21. ATWATER KENT MANUFACTURING COMPANY They are hard to reach on the phone.
  22. Rich people drove phaetons, poor people drove touring cars.
  23. I had the springs for my '33 Franklin re-bushed by a local spring shop. The bushings are easily made by any competent shop. The shackles are not as easy to make.
  24. Check with Rare Parts. Steering & Suspension, All American Cars, Import Cars, Off Road and Trucks | RareParts.com
  25. The only hose should be to allow for movement between the engine and the frame. Everything else should be hard lines.
