  1. Jayson, I believe GM still owns that car, it is an actual pace car ( the is no top ) The BJ car was a display car with a top, done in the pace car color sceme. The BJ description states it is a 3.8L car but no mention of a Turbo ( or two ).
  2. Ed, Thanks for the information, I WAS watching it on EBAY until I read your inside scoop. Pictures most certainly can lie.
  3. I just bought the 96 convert, If I had known the Indy car was going that cheap. I would have waited and bid on that.
  4. The Riviera Indy Pace car show car sold at Barrett-Jackson last night for 20K. Not a bad price for a GM show car.
  5. Ed, On your leather statement, you forgot to add " until 1974 and later"
  6. Jon, I agree with Bill, I had a simular problem with my old 63, check the turnsignal switch down by the firewall. I think you will find it is out of adjustment or sticking.
  7. Originaly a California car, but where is it now?
  8. Upper right picture, I am the one in the blue shirt, sitting in front of me is Don Adams, AKA DKBuick
  9. Add ebay item 130238813449 to the list, fender Gran Sport emblems in wrong place, wrong glove box emblem and painted valve covers on an original car. looks like a "conversion" done some time ago.
  10. Lamar, I am in a southern suburb of St. Paul, I can help out if needed.
  11. As the guy who laid out the show field at Rochester, I am at a loss on how Vincent couldn't find anyone to talk to. There were about 40 Reatta's on the field and THE most enthusiastic group of guys and gals I have come across at a show. Unfortuantly I was not able to talk to everyone who brought in their cars, but those I did were to the person very happy to be there and to talk about their cars, other members should take note of the Reatta divisions enthusiasm and maybe appreciate the other Buicks on the show field for what they are and whom they belong to.
  12. Ditto, I am the director of the Gopher State chapter and I received one today.
  13. Sell? What is this "sell" word you speak of? :-) Seriously, I have sold some cars and watched them get ruined and also seen them get the respect they deserve and improved and maintained ( board member Tim M. has my old 63 Riviera and has really brought the car up the level it deserves ) It is always nice to know the car isn't going to the salvage yard.
  14. Steve, There is a black 97 on the Minneapolis Craigs list.
  15. It sure looks too nice to be parted out, are there some sins not shown in the picture? I would be interested in the wheel lip mouldings if they are not damaged.
  16. The chrome air cleaner lids do not have a decal, only the black air cleaners on the non GS cars have the 455-4 decal.
  17. Tim and Randall, Thank you for the leads.
  18. Dave, Ranger Jim and Darwin are correct. Those are mounts for aftermarket headrests. Is that your car? If it has a Super Wildcat under the hood and the Turbine bolt on wheel covers, it would be my dream 64 Riviera.
  19. Don, Three members from the far NW suburbs are coming down. But be prepared, Kris S. and Paul S. are coming and you know how much trouble those two can be :-)
  20. Hi Everyone, due to a fender bender, I am in need of a RF wheel well opening moulding. I am looking for a very nice/NOS moulding. Any help/leads would be appreciated. Thanks
  21. The switch mounts on the access panel below the ignition switch ( just above your right leg ) , the reverb unit is in the trunk on the shelf between the spare tire and right side wheel well.
  22. Not even close, However a windshield from another B or C body would work, but make sure it from the same body style, i.e. 4 door sedans use a different windshield then a 2 door hardtop
  23. Jason, If Darwin cant get you a picture, my 67 Toronado has buckets and recliner. I can get to the car this weekend.
  24. Tim, You are close, 95 non supercharged is series II, supercharged is Series I. 96 and up is series II for both.
