  1. Check out Ebay, there is one that was listed recently. Kevin
  2. Steve, It sounds like the original dealer was not totaly up front with you, "new" cars do not have 1100 miles on them. It may have not had a previous owner but it sounds like an event car ( courtesy car at a golf tournament for example ) or maybe a zone rep vehicle. My experiance is with Chrysler so I can not say for sure this is what happened, but it sure feels that way. The Buick people seem to really want to help you out on this one. Good luck, Kevin
  3. Jayne, You have the standard interior in your car and the black pebble vinyl is correct. The Deluxe interior has the wood grain in the center console and door panels and ( note to Gee Rydes ) is the only year that has the wood grain around the radio. Kevin
  4. If you paint it a factory color, you shouldn't hurt the value and may even increase it ( I agree that Shell Beige is pretty bland ) Kevin
  5. Bill, Be sure to remove the short stainless trim piece below the vent window, there are some screws hidden under there. You also do not need to remove the entire panel, just the upper 2/3rds at each end will give enough access to the door lock. Kevin
  6. Bill, I have used metro's rubber with no problems on my Riviera's. Kevin
  7. Brian, I'm glad you are enjoying the Wildcat and it made the trip safe and sound. The car was Bob's baby and I now know it is in good hands. Kevin
  8. Try www.collectorcartraderonline.com or www.nada.com Kevin
  9. John, Whom have you been emailing? I will do what I can to help. Kevin
  10. It looks like R187 will not respond, I guess it is better to find out you're dealing with a flake this way then have money involved.
  11. It is right hand drive. Kevin
  12. Derek, You are correct, the triplets are 08's and are model 10's if I remember correctly. The GM heritage car is a 1926. Kevin
  13. R187, Are you out there? I would like an answer please.
  14. r187, I have a friend interested in the exhaust manifolds, but we need to hear from you.
  15. R187, I did not get an email from you, is there a problem? Kevin
  16. Sounds good, Pease email me off list so I can get payment to you gmebody@comcast.net Kevin
  17. Oh wow,I haven't used UPS much lately either. What I realy want are the center caps and the wheel anyways, how much for them ? At least the shipping will be a little easier. My zip is 55122. Thanks Kevin
  18. Any ideas on cost to ship to Minnesota? Thank you, Kevin
  19. Great pictures ! I love the camper also and I have been in it too. While it looks great it is not much fun to drive because it is VERY hard to see out of. To get an idea what it's like, cup your hands around you eyes like you are holding binoculars and you get an idea of how much you can see. Of course in 1938 traffic wasn't as crowded as it is today, so it wasn't as critical. The original owner was a financial backer for a little travel trailer company called Airstream, Which explains the aluminum usage. Kevin
  20. Hi Jake, I'm glad you had a good time. The reason for the 8am time to clear the field was due to an outdoor concert and the Roadies needed to set up in the park ( we found out about the concert only a short time ago, so it was a suprise to us.) I see you were a judge in my class also ( blue T-type and red turbo convert sitting side by side ) These cars are a lot of fun and with the way gas prices are lately, the 20+ mpg is helpful. I am sending in for the judging form and I will be interested in reading your observations. Thank you for coming out and also thanks for being a judge. Kevin
  21. Hi 3Jakes, The two cars you brought up on Ebay are not GS's. So they do not support your opinion on prices. Dick Sweeny is THE expert on 65's, I know this from discussions with Dick ( my knowledge is more general on Riviera's but spread over many years ). Prices on these cars are jumping as collectors are looking at them closer and as long as the old car market prices rise, the 65's will go with it. Kevin
  22. The owner was quoted as saying he would have been happy to get $600,000 for it. I am sure he is VERY happy it went for 3.4 million over that. Kevin
