  1. Chassis and engine are done and trying to find paint that matches for the rims.
  2. I have always wanted to do it but what I want to do will take up too much room,I want to do a gas station with a junkyard.
  3. Decided on a AMT dropped axle and rims and hub caps, now to find paint that matches. Found a unknown Y block that will go in and using a glue bomb body for mock up.
  4. Picked it up to use for parts in a all 60s build I have coming up but I think it's worth saving, bought a 80s version for the chassis but looking around I have the parts to put it back togather so the 80s version will eventually be built. Not too crazy about all the decals but will leave it as it was built.
  5. The holes were not shown in the picture but since I drove 70 miles to look at it I was not coming home empty handed,I did cut the snorkel off my original rusty air cleaner to make a dual snorkel when I found a good one but not going to fill those holes to do it.
  6. Trying to find paint to match the 40 in the back ground, its the 60s version I originally bought to use for parts that had a flat bed. The bed is from the yellow one,
  7. Taking some scrap parts and building something, the 40 big trucks had different front sheet metal but this one is going to be a framers home made truck. Found a 2 speed rear end in my parts stash and big truck frame parts, ordered some dually rims and tires so let's see what I can build. Not sure of the bed right now.
  8. Years ago I bought a 67 wagon that someone drilled holes in the lid.
  9. Been using a 69 air cleaner since I got it on the road but found this one on Marketplace today, doubt those extra holes came from the factory but might help the 390 breath a little better. It came with a pair of late 60s valve covers and those.and the 69 air cleaner will go on my 65 Galaxie to mimic a 69 ,390 I had on my first car,the Galaxie has cheap chrome versions on it.
  10. I am in Dayton, come on down and I will give you a tour of that junkyard.
  11. No Y block power, found someone making the truck Y block rams horn manifolds on a model forum,in the past I would just use SBC rams horns.
  12. Where are you located,my local old junkyard has a few 57s and a 58. I grab anything I think I can possibly use out of that junkyard before they decide it's time to close it,just grabbed a dash out of a 65 Mercury since it had a nice dash pad and gauges just in case I would need them for mine.
  13. If I had a obscure brand I would try to find parts cars and every part that I hear about,if I see something in a junkyard that could possibly be used I grab it and I have mainly 50s and 60s vehicles.
  14. I had a 72 AMX in the early 80s and used a 68 and 70 Javelins for the engines.
  15. I had a 50 Windsor 8 pass sedan for many years and would like to have another some day.
  16. It's getting a whole floor and rocker panels along with a complete trunk floor and of course both quarters and used doors, only original parts are the roof and firewall and those leaky T tops caused all that damage. It also needed another front subframe and did not have the original engine.
  17. It's being fixed and not much will be left of the original car.
  18. Probably will never sell any of my parts on the internet and just sell locally for cash like the way I bought the parts, might have to write down what each part costs if it gets too crazy.
  19. Where I work has a 77 T/A in to be restored with T tops, this car was not worth saving and wondering if parts are available since it will need seals.
  20. I have found modern chargers have a hard time charging dead batteries, the body shop I worked at had all modern chargers so I had to bring iny old school charger to charge up a couple dead ones.
