  1. We have a 35 at the shop that had been taken apart over a year ago but the person who took it apart forgot to take pictures, there is this wood frame that has snaps for the boot so does it mount to the body or rear of the seat.
  2. Kids now can not afford to build them, they were around 1.75 when I first started building and those bottles of paint were most likely around 25 cents.
  3. I do not remember it ever being that cheap,no price on the bottles in the bottom picture but do look older. Testors in the bigger bottles and Pactra in the smaller bottles,I got the Pactra paint in the mid 70s and used some of it and it was old then.
  4. Only one on my neighborhood had a Schwinn,I had a AMF and the rest Huffys.
  5. Trying to put it back together with original parts and I frequent the cable.
  6. Picked it up a couple years ago and now time to get it rideable, just sent the check for a correct fork and fenders and will be looking for a set of rims. It had been wrecked as evidence of the bent fork and the remains of the axle in the fork, been hanging in a friend's dad's shed for many years and I have a feeling it was not too old when it was damaged.
  7. It's from the 60s and found a 60s parts model on eBay so will try to save it,not sure if it will be done this summer but most likely this fall. Most likely will be a mild custom.
  8. I picked it up falling apart and missing some parts,I ended up having the missing exhaust but still need to find the glass for the windshield.
  9. Decided to rebuild a glue bomb 63 Galaxie, going to build it as a beater with multiple colored body parts and some primer spots.
  10. Time to get out in the garage and the grass will be needed to be cut soon so not many more models until it gets cold again, might finish a couple that were started on rainy days.
  11. Building it in the same colors as the hard top
  12. I robbed the engine out of this for one of the 39s but had to do something with it,found a better chassis for it and installed the Pontiac engine from the Monogram 34 Ford kit. It was painted and I done some detailing on it.
  13. Making some progress, this one will mostly be stock except for a 53 Corvette exhaust manifold.
  14. This one will be the coupe and be more stock this time.
  15. There is a coupe version that I will doing the same with when I find one,the coupe and sedan delivery are late 70s street rods and the coupe does not come with hood sides so a extra sedan delivery hood will be needed and will have to find a correct seat as it has late 70s styled bucked seats too.
  16. It does not have the correct seats and I used the bucket seats from the AMT 34 Ford pickup, the engine is from the Monogram 53 Chevy hardtop kit that I think comes with stock and speed equipment. The exhaust manifold is from a Monogram 53/54 Corvette that I have never seen but somehow had the engine, the rims and tires I had in stock and the hubcaps are from the AMT 37 Chevy kits.
  17. I think the engine came from the 53 hardtop kit and the split manifold came from a 53 or 54 Corvette kit I never seen before but some how I ended up with a partial engine
  18. Picked up a new body and chassis is done, going from late 70s street rod to old school shop truck.
  19. With me being on the frugal side I tend to buy incomplete projects so I put them together with whatever parts I can get cheap and not willing to spend the money to get all the correct parts so I have very few cars that have 100 percent correct parts. And I do not own a trailer so what ever I get has to be able to go down the highway without being a burden to everyone else so there are going to be some modifications to do that like gear ratios, overdrive trans and better brakes if needed. Whatever I have looks like it's supposed to on the outside but the mechanicals not so much, when I bought my 65 Mercury I decided to leave it alone since it's from the era it can handle the highways. I like them all.
