  1. Wouldn't Austins have Lucas lamps? Since these were made in the USA, I think more like Chrysler or DeSoto.
  2. The first photo from "olympic" is a dead ringer for the car in question right down to the six lugged steel disk wheels and the front fender shape.
  3. Correct...they are 1933-34 Chrysler.
  4. O.K....I feel kinda stupid 'cause I actually knew that. Guess I have been workin' too hard. So...any idea what the going rate for the item is? I have a chance to get one from a guy's garage and I don't want to get ripped off.
  5. Any ROUGH ideas on what a decent 1911 or 1912 T radiator and shell is worth? I know....without a photo, it's tough, but it looks VERY presentable and holds water.
  6. Nice coupe with refreshments....a plus!

Do you have a photo of the item or the mating pieces? It would give us a better idea of what you are looking for. Is it for a sedan rear mount accessory trunk?
  8. I have no dash photos of that particular car, but maybe someone on the Chandler forum below would.
  9. Almost looks like a Doble steam car, but smaller.
  10. What a cool little coupe! I love it.
  11. I have myself found that there are still good, old items to be found out there. Even with all of the "tri-fives", pony cars, muscle cars and rat rods, I have been able to scout out the goodies that a lot of guys cannot identify. They are usually in the "dollar" box. Some of my best finds were recent, so I know that it's a lot to do with what you know and how to i.d. a part in order to find the goodies. Keep lookin'....you, too will come across a treasure.
  12. Top item looks to be a 1960 to 1962? Ford Falcon - rear.
  13. At first I thought it was the World Trade Center, but now I am not sure.
  14. 1953 and 1954 Chevrolet "rocket" on top, I believe.
  15. So...does that mean it is o.k. for pets? Non-toxic?
  16. Where can I get a set of those exhaust manifolds for my '31 DH6?
  17. I believe that is what it represents, but look closely and you can see that it is not an engine at all. Most of the sculpture seems to be made up of non-car parts. Maybe some 1930's headlight bezels for tires, but most parts are way too small to be actual car parts.
  18. My friend, John W. Finn died yesterday. He was a Congressional Medal Of Honor winner in WW2. Shot down a bunch of Japanese planes at Pearl Harbor and was an avid old car guy. I will miss his great smile. Look him up on GOOGLE. I thank him and all service men for the things they did and gave up to preserve our freedom and defend our soil.
  19. The shape of the shield fits the 1928 Chandler design quite closely.
  20. Since the van is an Oregon van, I can relate. Those buggers are everywhere here. Glad to see that you are going "whole hog" on the van. It makes me want to start in and finish my A100 compact pickup. I must work some more at "architorture" to do that and since I use it every day as my driver, it will be tough to do.
  21. 1937 Chrysler Airflow. May fit the standard '37 Chrysler, too. May be 1938, too.
  22. Are you referring to the spider webs? Or is it the lack of a connection to the emergency brake cable?
  23. Sure gives "outhouse tipping" a new angle!
