  1. Greg you have a good looking car. I would suggest that you enter your car at Colo Springs. There is several ways that you could go. I you want to enter your car in the 400 point judging there is the judging manual at Reatta.org. You would find all of the information that you would need. There is also a modified class that you could enter in. You didnt say if you join the Reatta Division, but one of the best things of the Nationals is getting to meet all of the people from around the country and just have a good time. Bring your car and plan to have a good time. You will learn a lot from other Reatta owners and meet some friends at the same time. See ya in Colo Springs Chuck
  2. Can you imagine what the Pewter car is worth today, have not seen one of them for sale for a couple of years.
  3. Jim there were several cans of that on EBay several years ago and I think that is sold for $20.00 at the time. I thought of buying a can but it was too much for me.
  4. For those who dont belong to the BCA and the Reatta Div, copies of the December are available by contacting George Madsen at georgemadsen@att.net it is a copy that you need to get before they are gone
  5. Yah thanks it goes on the block on Saturday. I dont think that my $500.00 will buy it but that all I have times are tough lol
  6. Do you have the lot number I looked for it and didnt spot it
  7. Spotted white coupe southbound on I 35 in south Wichita yesterday around 3:30pm yesterday Jan 12. Looked nice any body here own that car?
  8. but I still have the Fiero, not running right now, will keep and restore some day
  9. I have had a bunch of these also, In fact I sold a show quality 61 corvette in 1976 just so I could get married. Got $3500.00 for it and felt good about that. Still have the same wife, cant afford to buy back a 61 Corvette. Still happy about that decision a long time ago and looking forward to the future.
  10. Well I started to take a look at the headlight switch on my 84 Riviera convertible and you guessed it I broke a tab of the plastic wood grain dash part. 2 questons has anyone ever made a successful repair, or does anyone have a part for sale. I only have see the convertible part and do not know if it will interchange with the coupe. Any advise? Thanks
  11. I too want to wish everyone a very happy new year. May the promise of a new year bring everyone health, happiness, and prosperity in 2009. The world has changed a lot this past year, but hopefully we have seen the bottom and 2009 will be much better. Chuck
  12. Nic call around trans shops are needing work in these tough times. You will find a good deal out there on a c4 they are very common. Worth the time on the phone
  13. Ya know Nic I played with old stangs years ago and I will tell you it is time to rebuild. Throwing a buch of fluids at it will only cause you to clean up a puddle. Good luck
  14. I will chime in as you are always the first to wish everyone a Merry Christmas. I also want to wish everyone the same. There is a lot of good people hurting this year and need our help. I want to take the chance to encourage andy one who can donate to your charity. Take a few moments to reflect on the past year and pray for peace and prosperty this comming year. I for one feel very blessed, I have a great family, a good job and lots of friends on this discussion group so Merry Christmas <span style="color: #FF0000"> </span>
  15. I have an 84 and need the headlight switch if it is the one with the Twilight sentintal. If you have one send cost. Thanks Booreatta@cox.net
  16. Dave you are right and there was some discussion as to what to charge, the fact of the matter is that no matter what you charge there will always be non joiners. The Bugle will mean a lot to some of us in the future and will be tossed out for others. The BCA and the Reatta Club serves as a vehicle for everyone to meet face to face and form friendships at meets so you dont have to go it alone. It is always good to see new people and old friends year after year. Those who choose to be non joiners will always stay strangers and miss the fun times. I have never met a Reatta owner that I have not liked and Kathy and I would not miss a National meet because we didnt want to belong. It is time for everybody to join up and and have some fun.
  17. Nic, you can contact Carole Madsen at 708-349-8879 she will give you all of the information that you need. She handles all of the Reatta wear stuff for the club. I would like to take a moment and invite you to join the BCA and the Reatta Div. As someone once said, Membership has its value. Happy Hoildays to everyone. Chuck
  18. Nick Ronnie is correct, I just am not that smart that late at night. There is no www on the front of the name. you can also contact georgemadsen@att.net will get you to the same place. sorry for the error Chuck
  19. The Reatta club has made a purchase of extra copies of the December Bugle and they are available by contacting Carole Madsen at carolemadsen@att.net The cost for members of the Reatta Div is going to be $5.00 per copy including postage. I you wish to purchase a copy and not be a joiner of the BCA and Reatta Club the cost is $10.00. This issue of the Bugle is well done on our cars and is a must for Reatta owners. Copies are limited Thanks Booreatta
  20. I have used Grundy for many years and they have agreed value, no mileage limits, no ded.,towing included. The Reatta is insured for 10,000 and the Riviera for 15,000 and the total came to about 350.00 per year. You have to have the cars garaged and must have another daily driver.
  21. you could look at manheimgold.com that is usually a good source of information.
