I agree with Jim, I have used Barneys several time and have always had exellent results. The repair should last for the rest of my life and I dont plan on going anywhere for a long time.
  3. I am sure that some of the experts will chime in here but from my experience it sound like the idle air control (IAC) needs some help. Do you have a service manual?
  4. I just wanted everybody to know that your Reatta Division of the BCA has made a cash donation of $1000.00 to the BCA to support the Bugle. We are lucky to have a bunch of members that support our DIvision and in turn we are able to support the BCA and the fine magazine that we have. If you are not a member of the BCA, then you are not a member of the Reatta Division and miss out on a lot of good stuff. It is easy to post on this forum free but there is a lot of info out there that only a member can have. The BCA is having some financial issues and now is the time to step up and help. The Reatta Division is growing and we have to set the standards. In other words put your money where it counts. Bottom line Join the BCA and the Reatta Divison and make plans to go to the National meet in Ames Iowa Chuck

  8. I know where a couple are but I will have to check if they are still there. Where are you located? I am not sure that shipping wouldnt cost more than the part. The one that I looked at several month ago was like new, It came off of a car that was parted after being dontated to a school. The car had less than 5000 miles when it was parted and the tail pipe and muffler was set aside. I dont know if it is still there or not. The part if it is still there is in Wichita Ks

  13. Hi Nic Good find SIA Electronics has been around for quite a while and I have used them in the past for an ECM that was giving me fits on ol Booreatta. They need a core but from what I remember they reman lots of stuff that we can use and it is a good company to keep in your address. I think that they still repair or reman MAF sensors and fuel injectors. I would like to know if any one here has used them lately.

    ABS Relay

I think if I remember right the 88 and 89 had 3 relays and the 90 and 91 had only 2 which accounts for the blank space on your firewall
  17. Got the new Reatta club newsletter that April Gill did and I think that she did a really good job. If you are not a member of the Reatta Division of the BCA you missed a good article on the passing of Domemick Clemente written by Ed Farnell. Ed and Jim Finn were able to travel to New York to the funeral, and if you ever met Domenick you would know why were a tight bunch. Another thing I had the old Reatta Convertible out this afternoon and I was a great day for crusing. Early this evening a cold front came thru and it is now 39 degrees out. You guys in the north country please keep this cold weather up north with you where it belongs. lol Thanks
  18. Rick thanks the on off key worked. I didnt have any codes set. I also didnt have the check enging light this morning. I will keep a watch on it I know that it wont fix itself and sooner or later it will lite the check enging light again. I knew that it was simple. Thanks Chuck
  19. Ihave a Dodge Dakota that keeps setting the check engine light. I unhook the battery and have replaced the fuel cap. I remember some where that I can read the codes with the key. For the life of me I cant remember how. I am Buick guy and just use the Dodge for carrying stuff from time to time. It is a 2003 with 75000 miles. I am sure it is something simple but if one of you Dodge guys can point the way to go I would appreciate it Thanks in advance Chuck Booreatta@cox.net
  20. I had mine repaired at united Radio in Syracuse NY Their Phone number is 1-800-448-0944. Working good they also repaired my cassette in my other car that I sold. I have seen others that do the repairs but I have not used them
  21. Last summer at the nationals, when the Reatta group was on the Rendezvous a deer just stood at the side of the road about 5 feet from the cars as they passed. I was raining hard and the deer seemed to be more interested in eating a bush at the side of the road than he was in going anywhere. We were all thankful that he didnt decide to take off. He could have gotten at least one car for sure. It was a fun time at the Rendezvous.
  22. yep I am also sold on Zano I have used their products many years and I am happy with the results.
  23. Dick you might want to contact Barney Eaton he repairs the antennas for our Reattas
  24. I have used Grundy for years and dont have any issues. On the other hand I have never had a claim. I have 3 agreed value cars and the cost is around $400.00 per year.for all of them
  25. I was contacted today by another Reatta owner and he is looking hard for a Pewter model after he saw mine. Mine is not for sale and he is offering $500.00 plus for one. I was tempted to sell but decided not to, but if anyone is interested, let me know I will pass it on.
