  3. We still have a drive in here in Wichita, it very busy in the summer. Two screens, the hump to park on, the speakers in the poles but you can tune your car radio to a position on the dial to play on the car speakers. I can remember my dad talking about sending heat into the car in the fall and winter so they could keep the drive in opened later in the year. He said that they problem with the heat is that it was a pipe running under ground and there were issues with mice getting into the car from the heat duct work. Cant think that would make me want to return to the drive in. We still do a car cruise to the drive in in October and they show films like Thunder Road, American Graffitti, Grease, and several others. Always a good time. Dont have to sneak folks in the trunk any more they got smart and started charging by the car load...22 guys in a VW aint bad Chuck Kerls
  4. The mat on the left was the mat for the 88 89 Reatta it is reversible and had snaps for a plastic grid to attach on the bottom. The tan button covered the snaps on the top side. I think that Barney still had some of the plastic grids to keep the mat from moving. The R is a patch that is glued onto the mat The mat on the right was for 90 91 it has plastic grippers built into the back of the mat. Chuck Kerls booreatta@cox.net

  6. complete zippered portfolio just closed on ebay for $280.00. This is the highest I have seen lately. Maybe prices are beginning to go up again. There seems to be a good demand for these and they are not real common in the complete status. Chuck Kerls booreatta@cox.net

You guys will have fun for sure, go for it and best of luck Chuck Kerls booreatta@cox.net

  12. I will answer for the Reatta Division, we are alive and very active and we are a division of the Buick Club of America and our division does'nt have any plans for a show on the west coast. We will have our national at Charlotte NC when the BCA meets. There is only one Reatta Club. There are Rivieras in the ROA and the BCA. I think most of the time the Rivieras in the ROA meet at their national meet and Rivieras owners that belong to the BCA will meet at the BCA National. Iknow there are some Riviera owners that will take part in both the BCA and ROA national meets The Reatta Division will take part in the BCA national in Portland the summer of 2014. Many Reatta owners also take part in local regional BCA meets around the country. I hope that answers you question If you are not a member of the BCA and the Reatta Divison, I would invite you to join. We always have a lot of fun. If you want anymore information feel free to give me a call Chuck Kerls booreatta@cox,net 316-655-1099
  13. Ok here is the up date the car is pretty clean. Issues are headliner sagging, crack in the tail light most likely would want to replace useable as is, headlights do nothing and I didnt have time to check further. The dealer does have the center caps. Car starts and runs well I did not drive it but it goes in and out of gear good. The abs system seems to be in good shape as none of the lights stay on and the yellow goes out in just a few seconds. The caps on the door straps are broken. Touch screen was working well when I started the car and all the hard keys function. Under the hood looked to be clean and taken care of. I did not get under the car but I did not see rust from the top just using the one knee on the ground. All of the glass was clean and not broken. I think the car came out of Junction City Kansas. Dealer is wanting $3800.00 for the car, I told him that might high but I think he will nego. If anyone wants anymore info contact me and I will give you his contact info Chuck Kerls
  14. I can remember from my early childhood that my cousin had an old Dynaflow that he had to push to start. They lived in Jennings Mo and at the top of a pretty good size hill. They would gas it up and stick the red rag back in the gas tank filler tube, get in and AWAY WE GO. Always ended up at the roller rink. Fun times. Chuck Kerls
  15. Marck there is no 16 way seats, and no sunroof. It was getting dark and I didnt check for rust. I will drop by there tomarrow and get some photos and check the condition for you Chuck
  16. Just ran across a 1989 white coupe for sale at a dealer in Wichita. Car appears to be in pretty good shape, however the dealer was closed and I just didnt get a lot of info. White with white mouldings. Burgandy seats and it looks like 145000 miles. The headlights were in the up position and there were no center caps on the car. If any one is interested let me know I can get more information. I need to swing by there and put one of the card that Bob Popyk did in the car so the new owner can get the info to join the club the vin is 1G4EC11C4Kb904898. Barney FYI it is not in the data base Chuck Kerls booreatta@cox.net 316-655-1099
