  1. I hope Wayne can get air time and continue to show us the shows and auctions he gets to. Often wonder if there is a "Full Restoration Shop" that turns out quality cars equal to the custom work on Bitchin Rides, and would that shop if it exists would allow filming.
  2. Great looking car, they had a team of three in the 1921 INDY 500, one finished in fifth place. I've often wondered if the Sunbeam that raced in 1960's VSCCA events was one of them.
  3. Most of the car shows as well as American Pickers seam to have run out of new shows. Hope it is just not knowing when the new season starts.
  4. The only car in that batch that caught my attention was what looks like an M Type MG. I wouldn't drive out there and back to get it, I just noticed in was there.
  5. Very sad, electricity is something I'll never understand, this is the final result of it, no reason to ever get my projects to the wiring stage, just not worth it.
  6. Goggle Pre War PI Rolls Royce PII, RollsRoyce firewall and you get images like this one. Looks like the one in the original post to me.
  7. Nobody has been able to explain electricity to me. It is the source of fire and destruction.
  8. I've had them since new, time they had a new home. Free Postage USA PayPal works best. Thank you. Bob
  9. Is the DIXI the little Austin Seven made under license in Germany? Here is an engine running .
  10. Looks to be English, and being electrical scarry to me.
  11. I have the catalog in the file cabinet. If someone has a CORD and Model A Ford head gasket it would be interesting to see if the stud locations are close. Looks like Roof used two head castings for the CORD Overhead.
  12. Yes, Robert Roof, is this a challenge to see who posts the photo first? 🙂
  13. Look at this car and imagine you are 15 years old in 1930, it belongs to the bosses son, that your father is the chauffeur for the family. The CORD is in New York City and they want it driven to the country estate in Connecticut, a good hour and a half to two hour drive back then. "I don't have a drivers license." my father told them "We'll take care of any tickets." was the reply. Dad always said the shifting was a problem. The CORD was later traded in on a brand new 1933 Ford Cabriolet, the fastest pre WWII car Dad ever drove. I'd like to have one of both. Bob
  14. If you say so, why are the all lit at the same time?
  15. What are the Asian language letters? Is it a rest room direction sign for a hallway inside a building?
  16. I've often wondered if you can feel any noticeable difference in the ride of a Model A Ford with and with out shocks. Never owned one with shocks.
  17. My interest in automobiles ends in 1942, there are a few exceptions Post War but not many.
  18. Thank you at 72 I never meet anyone that used the term. Bob
