  1. Hi, i am trying to add pictures and create an album on my profile. When I touch gallery as in step 1 it takes me to the members general gallery.
  2. I do not see a green place to click on or touch to activate adding an album. See picture.
  3. I think there are many more exceptions than we realize. There were 14 (!) cars in that particular auction that were what I consider very good deals or waaaay underpriced. Perhaps because the auction was in the Midwest there were not as many big money guys there. I ended up selling my 1948 Packard Station Sedan this spring for 60% of what I was asking and I thought I was below market at my asking. BTW my first “old” car was a 1946 Dodge D-24 DeLuxe Coupe. Always loved the Mopars from that era.
  4. We need to recognize how precipitous the drop in $$$ is on most pre 1955 cars is. Just check out some final prices at the recent RM/Sotheby’s Spring Auburn auction: Hupmobile Skylark $15,400; 1924 Haynes Touring $10,560. There are many more that went for low $$ such as a nice Terreplane 8 Coupe and a ‘50 Stude Champ convert, both really nice cars.
  5. To me a 2dr. or 4 dr. car looks exactly the same from behind the steering wheel!! I love this car.......I would drive it!
  6. Since selling my Packard I would like to pass these three fine books to another Packard owner or enthusiast. All books are in excellent condition, the Dawes and Turnquist books have original slipcovers on them that are shelf worn. I would like $115.00 for them all, postage INCLUDED to anywhere in the continental USA. Contact me via PM or email Scampout at Comcast.net.

  8. Hemings response to my ad for my 1948 Station Sedan was minimal. I had several responses from AACA buy/sell. I sold my car on Bring-A-Trailer. That was a very positive experience. They have an 84% sell rate. They run a first class operation and were extremely helpful in setting my auction up. For $99 I feel I really got my money’s worth. I think your El Camino would do well there, you can check history of sales on their site. I have seen several of them sell over the last few years.
  9. BAT turned out to be a great place to sell my ‘48 Packard Station Sedan. They were excellent to work with. It’s a pattern with old cars sold on that site that the most meaningful bidding action happens on the last day and often in the last 1/2 hour. I recommend them heartily.
  10. Thanks all! John, I did lower the top with the device in place...all worked well.
  11. This is attached to the top bow of my Model T Runabout. As pictured, hinged wire hoop, spring loaded, what is it for......hat holder??
  12. Indy Speedway (May be repro) $25.00 Florida ( original repainted) $30.00 Manitoba Motor League (original) $40.00 All prices include postage in the continental USA 🇺🇸
  13. John, OCW moved to Stevens Point Wi. sometime in 2018. A big lay-off also occurred within that division at that time. Curti, Angelo will land somewhere else on his feet as he is passionate about his work and it shows.
