  1. Rob, I'm 6'2" w/ 33" inseam. I have owned seven Model A's that I have used for touring inc. a 160-b, and a 400-a. The cabriolet (68-a) is by far the most comfortable for me, even with the top up. With the top down height is of course a non issue. Leg room is the best for me in the cabbie, the best of any A's I have driven.
  2. I can offer free heated/secured storage for this vehicle for the upcoming winter if payment is made in full and I am provided with proof of insurance. Thank You! ____
  3. I am selling my 1929 68-a Cabriolet. It is in excellent condition, correct colors, nice top, interior, top boot and spare tire cover all from LeBaron/Bonney. This car runs and drives beautifully. Good tires, newer radiator. Headlamps, grille shell and cowl light are all nickel plated. Glass good, everything works inc. correct electric wiper. I have many more pictures and invite any calls and questions. $25,000.00 firm and fair for this car. It is the star of the show wherever it goes! The car is located in Lakeland, Mn. PM me for phone # or email scampout at Comcast.net for more pictures and info.
  4. During the restoration of my 1931 Model A Town Sedan I found a 1931 half dollar coin in the bottom of one door. A lot of money to lose track of back in the depression days! A friend mounted the coin in a wood shift knob and it hopefully will stay with the car.
  5. Steve M. has satisfied my concerns as far as this matter goes. I for one am thankful that we have him and the rest of the staff at AACA. Although many of us may have concerns over some of the day to day and business decisions made by the AACA hierarchy, I truly believe they have the best interest of all of us in the AACA in their hearts.
  6. I agree 100% with David C. Here is the email I sent to the executive director about 1/2 hour ago:
  7. I have received no reply to my PM.....how about posting your contact info or at least expressing your intentions with another posting. Thank You???!
  8. Looks like a very nice "home made" piece fabricated by a skilled craftsman. A competent machinist with a well equIpped shop could make one for you.
  9. How about some contact information and what is your asking price? Thank You!
  10. I quit using e-BAD about 15 years ago for any sales. AACA Buy/Sell has been the best for general parts, marque specific items I target to a website that caters directly to those people (i.e. model T). For me it is not about wringing the last dollar I can out of something, it is about finding a price both seller and buyer can be happy with. I have sold parts on the "net" for nearly 20 years and never had to refund or do return shipping. BTW, that lens is for a 1928 Buick, I sold a pair to a man in the Netherlands last year.
  11. Thank you Mark for all the "heads-up" postings that you make of interesting cars for sale. Keeps us entertained and dreaming! Sooner or later I will find the right one and jump on it. This really does look like a nice car.
  12. A little digging in Fred's profile indicates he (and likely the car) are located in Sweden. My best wishes for a quick sale on this interesting car!
  13. Great picture which I have never seen. I would like to see the same picture today!
  14. I don't want to toss these in the scrap brass bucket.......make an offer!
  15. For parts sales I want a personal check for payment (How many scammers would do that?!!!) and for large sales or selling a car I will do electronic transfer of funds only. I have never had a problem in almost 20 years of selling cars or parts on the Internet.
