  2. I pay $100.00 for the season for each vehicle in an unheated wood frame garage. Season from November through May. A few miles out of town (Canandaigua, NY).
  3. I'm in the process of finishing the wheels for our Packard Twin Six. I've completed the linseed oil treatment and are getting ready for paint. What process should I use to get to color? What primer will be compatable? Obviously, the big concern here is adhesion. I'm working with PPG paints. Any help will be appreciated. Bill Boudway gnbboudway@msn.com

  5. I'm rewooding a body and don't find any evidence of glue in the joints where the old wood joins. Is there some reason for this? Should the joints remain flexible? Bill Boudway
  6. For sale: Two 18" rims, a 5.25/5.50 tire, and two inner tubes. Rims are 18" X 3" bead width, welded spoke. 6-bolt, 5 1/2" bolt circle, 5 3/4" hubcap hole.   16. Hi, The only source that I know of for top bows is: Oak Bows 122 Ramsey Ave. Chambersburg, PA 17201 (717) 264-2602 They made a complete set for our 1919 Packard. I believe that they even have paterns for Howard's 1922 What. Good luck, Bill Boudway

  19. With the recent trend to "outsource" customer service, you were most likely trying to reach someone in India. Best to try calling then in the middle of the night, our time. Then, be prepared to try to work with an associate who will have difficulty understanding your problem and communicating a satisfactory solution.
