  7. Hi, You may need to use a hydraulic press to get the brake drum separated from the hub. It took 14 tons of pressure to do this on our Packard wheels. Good luck, Bill Boudway

  21. Hi Harry, Our '84 Dodge Ram Van had 252,000 miles on it when we sent it down the road two years ago. Our '87 BMW 528E had only 233,000 miles on it when it went away last summer. Both were victims of New York States policy of support of the road salt mining industry. The roads around here are white with salt for a good part of the winter months. Millions are lost in vehicle value to the policy of making it safe for all skill levels of drivers to hit the road whenever it's convenient. Bill Boudway
