  1. I see that I did not say of I wanted these parts or had them for sale. They are for sale. I want $125.00 for the 3 piece rear window. The stainless trim would be about $5.00 to $9.00 a piece and the doors are $35.00.
  2. Is is the price or just that no one needs the parts?
  3. Any interested in this car? The car is complete in and out. The headliner is hanging down, the spedometer shows 7999 miles and is probably going around for the second time. The body is straight and clean. I have no other history on the car. One lower tail light lens in cracked. It is in Riverside County, Calif. I would like to keep it but I am just out of room. fredrawling@verizon.net
  4. I have been offered a 73 Le Sabre 4 door, ex police car. It is pretty rough with a cracked windshield, ripped out radio antenna with lots of bondo around it and some other damage. The spedometer shows 5,000 miles. That looks to me to be over 100,000 miles. The question is this. Is the rear end or transmission anything special because it was a police car? It looks like a parts car to me.
  5. I have a rear bumper from a 65 Electra. Will it fit your car. I am sorry that I do not have any interchange information for it. fredrawling@verizon.net
  6. There is a horsless carrage meet in Bakersfield around April. They have a tour and a swap meet. I will post the dates when I get the information.
  7. The back up light lenses are flat glass from 50-52. This information is from the book and from personal experience on a 1950 and 1951 Roadmaster. The black shade on the bulb reminds me of a spot light bulb where the inside of the black shade reflects more light to the reflector. I just used regular bulbs in mine with aluminum foil behind the bulb. This aluminum foil works great in the tail lights also. It made them much brighter.
  8. Ignition switch lever reproduction is brass. Chrome or nickel plated. $21.00 plus postage. This fits all 1928 models. This switch lever is for 1928 only. The other years are different. fredrawling@verizon.net
  9. I have the engine side pans off my car and I need to have them reproduced. Anybody need a set? When I had them made for the 1928, the costs was $45.00 each. The 1934-35 parts have some louvers in them that the 1928 did not so the cost may be a little different. E-mail me if you are interested. I will probably be ready to take the parts for an estimate in about 2 weeks. fredrawling@verizon.net I already checked and there is no discount for a large or small order. The shop makes them up one at a time.
  10. 1 set for a special $75.00, 1 set for a roadmaster /$100.00. Both in the pumpkin. I forgot the ratio but they are the low ratio. It is raining outside and I do not want to melt so if you are interested, I will get the information to you tomorrow when the sun shines again in California. fredrawling@verizon.net

  16. I would try the auto parts store first. Volkswagen used 6 volts for quite a while. There should be replacement bulbs available at the auto parts store with no shipping required.

  18. Please tell us where they are located. Are they standard or master and how much for each.
  19. Be sure to check to find out which series hood ornament he makes. The 40 series is different from the 50,60,90 series ornament.
  20. Remember if you plate the retainer ring on wire wheels, you have to have them baked after plating to prevent hydrogen embritelment which could cause the ring to break.
  21. Thank you Roger. Did your article have pictures of the light?

  23. Thank you Roger. Did your article have pictures of the light?
  24. The 40 series parts do not interchange with the 50,60, and 90 series parts. Sedan rear fenders are different from coupe fenders. When you find out what series or model it is, let me know and I will try to give you more specific information.
