  1. I am not sure what a ""part #100" driver's side window guide", is but I will send you an email.
  2. If Motu 56 does not have the parts you are looking for I do have several Reatta parts cars and have most panels, small parts and a complete ABS unit. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com

    Window woes

I have several Reatta parts cars and have the window you are looking for. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com
  4. It is very common for the window motors and/or the regulators to go bad on Reattas. The motor is riveted to the regulator. On the end of the motor is a small gear and a large arcing gear on the regulator. Either of these gears can strip. I do have good window motor/regulators available and I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com Dale, I will send you an email.
  5. I have several Reatta parts cars and have both the parts you are looking for. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com and let me know what year your car is. Code E042 is called the " electronic spark timing circuit" ( est ) To set a code E 042 the engine speed must be greater than 600 rpm with no EST pulse for 200 ms. The ignition module sends a signal to the ECM. Code B660 is a "cruise control not in drive" The BCM sets this code if it determines that the cruise contro is engaged but detects that the gear selector is in park, reverse or neutral. I also have an extra '88 shop manual and an '89 shop manual available. Both are in like new condition and have all the codes and anything else you would ever want to know.
  6. The number 1645315 was superseded by 16088406 and can be found in GR 2.510 and on page 2-19 part 32

    Engine Mounts

I do have good used mounts and the one in the front does go bad. I have very reasonable prices. The one in the front isn't very hard to change and should only take about a half hour. The compressor does not have to be moved. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com I agree with Padgett, the prices quoted are way too high and you probably do not need you transmission rebuilt.
  8. If you don't find a new one I have good used ones at reasonable prices. I have several Reatta parts cars and can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com
  9. It would, but I just bought a black '89 and used up all my money.
  10. Jon, You probably have a bad CD player. As these players get old many things go wrong with them. I have sent you another email. Jim
  11. You will need to pump the brake pedal about 25 times to depressurize the system. You can then unscrew the accumulator. If after turning the accumulator more than one turn you still find it hard to unscrew, pump the brakes a few more times. Initially it will be tight only until the "O" ring is no longer contacting the pump but if it is still tight then you still have pressure in the accumulator. When you take off the old accumulator simply screw on the new one. If you haven't already purchased an accumulator, I have some good used ones.
  12. I do have several Reatta parts cars and do have the window and mirror you are looking for. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com F14crazy, thanks for the referral.
  13. I did, but mine only had 65,000 miles on it. I sold it to my nephew and now my sister owns it, here in Duluth. The weather was very nice today so my wife in her driftwood convertible, my daughter in my white convertible, my sister in the burgundy convertible and my other sister, who bought the black convertible I had this year in Batavia, all went on a Sunday afternoon tour with the tops down. I stayed home and had a bad afternoon watching the Vikings. The good news, actually great news, is the Lions won. Jim
  14. I think your brother will be interested. Send him an email. Jim

    blower motor

I have several Reatta parts cars and have a good used blower available. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com
  16. I have several Reatta parts cars and have the part you are looking for. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com
  17. The mounts are part number 1627359 and are still available from GM for a retail of about $ 25 each. Less if you can get a discount. With a floor or bottle jack you can easily replace them yourself. Just, one at a time, drop each corner of the cradle a little bit and replace the cushions.
  18. There is one on Ebay right now. The item number is 4572264210
  19. You do not have to take off the door panel. The black trim on top of the switch panel just snaps into place and after removing it you will see two screws that hold the switch panel to the door panel. Remove the screws and the switch panel will lift up enough to remove any or all of the switches. I have several Reatta parts cars if you need a switch and I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com

    Clutch pack

It is not uncommon for that disk to break and have some pieces in the pan. It happened to my son so I asked a transmission repair shop and it should not cause any problems. My son continued to put on about another 20,000 miles with no trouble.

    Green Reatta

Out of curiosity why is the title of this post "green Reatta"? They only offered green in '91
  22. Upon looking further into this circuitry in my shop manual is see the diode is there so operating the switch under the tape player only opens the doors and does not turn on the lights. Operating the headlight switch puts battery on both the inputs to the control module and both opens the doors and turns on the lights. The diode shields the battery from going to the light input. If you lights are not lifting from either switch I would suspect the module. I have both headlight control modules and diodes.

    Accumulators

I have several Reatta parts cars and have a good used accumulator. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com
  24. There is a headlight control module located under the windshield washer bottle. This controls both headlights and I have sold several of them but without looking in the manual I am not sure if it could be causing your problems. I do have good used modules if you determine you need one. I can be reached at jfinn@cpinternet.com

    Headlights

The best bet is Barney barney@texas.net He has the rollers and a very good reproduction bellcrank at a very reasonable price.
