  1. When I start my 1989, I no longer have the Reatta name logo appear on the screen; it just goes right into regular operating mode. I recently had the security switch in the driver's side door replaced (the logo disappeared right around the time that went bad) and I thought that would solve the problem, but it didn't. The rest of the car is in perfect working order. Has anyone else had this problem and fixed it?
  2. What's the part number on those clips?
  3. I checked it out at two different auto parts stores, and neither had a light the right size. I got one pair of bulbs (Serial No. LT74) that were a hair too wide, and that was as close as I got. I'm beginning to suspect they don't make this size anymore.
  4. The "Fog Lights" and "Lamp Retract" switches on my '89 failed to light up when the headlights were on, so I took the switch bank out and found the two small light bulbs that screwed in behind the switches were burned out. "Stanley," which I assume is the name of the company, is written on the back of the bulb, as well as the number "V-2." Does anybody know where I could find replacements for these?
  5. Recently, the security switch in the driver's side door of my '89 Reatta malfunctioned, so every time I unlocked the door with the key, it set off the car alarm. In case you're wondering, the security switch is an interior part that, in short, tells the car if the door is open or closed. I took it into the shop and was told the part was beyond repair and they couldn't find a replacement, so they wired around it and I figured that was that. Every time I started the car, a message saying that the driver's door was ajar popped up, but it was a minor inconvenience compared to the car alarm. However, it wasn't over. Because the car thought the door was open, the security light in the dashboard burned constantly, and would wear the battery down. Now I have to jump the car before I can start it. Does anyone know where to find one of these things, or if there is a part from another car that would work?
