  4. I also have a couple of these trun signal switches, same part number. I have found out that there are two types, I don't know the difference but one switch has red plastic body ant the other has white plastic body. Check and see what color your is and compare. JIM Schiilf / palbuick@aol.com
  5. If I remember correctly there is a switch near the bottom end on the steering column under the dash, which contans the turn signal wiring and the cornering light wiring. Check your shop manual wiring diagrams. The wiring may not making a good contact, loose or dirty. JIm Schilf / palbuick@aol.com

  9. The correct color for your 64 engine, a 300 CI, should be silver. This includes intake manifold, timing chain housing, heads.bellhousing. Starter is black, air cleaner is black.   11. Hi Larry<BR>I believe that was Paul Brunch(dont know about correct spelling) A big heavy set fellow, From Milwaukee Wi. He had a box of Radiator hoses.<BR>I had some hot water hoses for the 64 Riveria<BR>Original formed hoses with the 4 lines on the them, a 5/8 & 3/4 hoses.<P>Jim Schilf / palbuick
  12. The 350 short block, is NEW, still has some cosmoline on along with some surface rust. Has crank, pistons conn. rods and a cam. 455 Block has been heat cleaned of all cosmoline and reassembled,with a good coating of grease, has pistons, rods, crank. It is the later 1976 Block with the larger oil passages. I have Stage 1 heads, Good used timing cover, Stage 1 Fuel pump, B4B intake,cast iron intake, Auto flywheel, Standard Flywheel. a few other parts lying around, including a complete 455 motor and 400 trans.<BR>Asking $1200.00 for 455, and $ 350 for 350 Block, Can make package deal.<BR>If you can make it to the Regional show this weekend you can see all.   16. Try Siica sand, it is much finer than regular sand, and is fairly reasonible. I bought it at my local lumber yard, in 100 lb<BR>bags around $5.00 bag. Some hardware stores will also carry it. Play sand is too course this my be why your nosel is clogging. If you are using a gravity bucket they are very slow and use a lot of air pressure. For outside work use a pressure feed type blaster. I have a 340 with 4 bbl manifold, motor mostly compete heads valve covers,intake and exhaust manifolds, timing cover, water pump.<BR>flywheel, This was a junk yard motor and the pan is ripped and torn. Don't know anyting about inside of motor. Price is $125, you can pick up, no delivery. If you can attend the Regional Meet in Rockford, Ill on the 15,16,17.Aug. I live only 4 miles from Show area.   22. On many original Buick motors the large gear had a plastic covering on the gears, GM stated to keep noise down. After many miles the palstic broke and caused some rough idle, and a sloppy chain. It is best to replace the cam gear and new chain together, as for the crank gear, depends on how it has worn, if it looks really worn replace. Some times easier to replace al three at once.
